What difference does it make being year 5? We have made the playoffs. We have beaten Bama twice. We average 9+ wins a year. And this is the first season we have crossed the blue chip ratio threshold after dealing with recruiting limitations the first few years. We will be all right. It’s Year 5. Wake up out of your Comma!!!
Sometimes. But more importantly he gets paid the big bucks to not listen to retarded fans who want to fire a coach the first time he loses a game his team was favored in each season. He gets paid the big bucks to realize we win tonight easily if players execute routine assignments. And no, coaches can’t prevent players from screwing up. Even Saban’s guys occasionally laid an egg. He just had the luxury of an unprecedented talent gap. Something that no coach today has.Again, that's why the athletic director makes the big bucks. Any more questions?
Yes I realize every stupid thing you said. Btw I don’t get paid to find and hire coaches, Danny white does....to a team with more composite talent. Against a Tennessee team completely decimated on defensive players. With a couple of unfortunate plays (one INT was on Joey, the other was on the tight end). Poor rush blocking led to the fumble and terrible tackling. The team did not execute well. And except for the first half of one ballgame (tonight), the defense has been awful all year.
You do realize Georgia almost got beat by an unraked Florida team. You do realize #9 Vanderbilt was beat by a lesser ranked Texas. NIL has changed college football. These schools firing coaches are dellusional. Name ONE coach available that can do better at LSU, Florida, Arkansas. There are none. It's any given Saturday.
Still didn't answer my question...who would you rather have instead of Josh Heupel? Anyone calling for Heupel's firing is slap delusional and these posts are idiotic.
Heupel continues to have these games where he’s “all out of sorts” just cut bait from this man now.Sometimes. Please inform me what division 1 school you have coached at?Is it? So on 4th and 1 instead of running the Hurry up that has a chance of catching them off gaurd and also what has been dominant for us for years.... you choose to run yet another play action out of the same formation that we threw the pick six on... not exact formation but really close. And you choose to throw it to a freshman that has 2 catches on the season? So the dumb is on us "posters" in a forum?

I don't think many people around here are watching other SEC football games, but it's a battle out there every week. Even the best teams are fighting for their lives most weeks. If you get sloppy and turn the ball over, you're probably going to lose.Sometimes. No he doesn’t. That’d be dumb. He had a great gameplan tonight and called a good game. 1 play (fumble) changed the outcome of the game even though our QB threw 2 dumb interceptions, their kicker made 3 50+ yarders and our kicker missed inside 40. It be like that sometimes.Heupel continues to have these games where he’s “all out of sorts” just cut bait from this man now.
Say I'm overreacting all you want. He does not get our players ready to play in the critical games. He is not a horrible coach, but he will not win a Championship at UT. If you're okay with that fine, I'm personally not. Flame me all you want for this take, I've seen enough. Kirby is out here and his players win games that they play like trash in, ours play well and dominate and still lose, and lose because of stupid mistakes, dropped passes, bad playing calling on both D and O, and poor overall preparation and coaching.
