You do know it took Kirby 6 years to win his first national championship.. Josh has brought this team back from dumpster fire! Chill out we had a bad game on offense tonight… Heupel can win a national championship here & if our fans don’t run home off, I believe he will!Say I'm overreacting all you want. He does not get our players ready to play in the critical games. He is not a horrible coach, but he will not win a Championship at UT. If you're okay with that fine, I'm personally not. Flame me all you want for this take, I've seen enough. Kirby is out here and his players win games that they play like trash in, ours play well and dominate and still lose, and lose because of stupid mistakes, dropped passes, bad playing calling on both D and O, and poor overall preparation and coaching.
Yes it is dumb. That formation has been run a ton. It was an execution problem. Just like the pick 6 against Bama. That’s not in Heupel or Halze. That’s squarely on Aguilar. He made a bad throw. At some point you and others are gonna have to realize these players have to accept a large share of the blame. Is it? So on 4th and 1 instead of running the Hurry up that has a chance of catching them off gaurd and also what has been dominant for us for years.... you choose to run yet another play action out of the same formation that we threw the pick six on... not exact formation but really close. And you choose to throw it to a freshman that has 2 catches on the season? So the dumb is on us "posters" in a forum?

It’s because there is no 8 ball for the solution? You know a coach out there that comes with a winning guarantee? Exactly. Now you’re gonna get pushback from people saying “you guys always say that”
People are always great pointing out problems and pretty much the opposite at giving solutions.
IThe knock on him was turnovers and we're seeing if you heat him up, he'll throw you a couple..Yes it is dumb. That formation has been run a ton. It was an execution problem. And we're still staring down 7-5 (3-5) in Huepel's fifth season#2 scoring offense nationally under Halze. 3 WRs over 100 yards receiving under Halze. Didn’t happen under Golesh.
I'm surprised this is even an honest questionWe’re really in a bad spot. He’s probably better than who he’d be replaced with. Probably… But he isn’t winning championships. It’s year 5. It ain’t happening. So do we just accept good but never great? Like that’s a serious question. I’m honestly torn…
Have you seen our defense? 3rd and 20. Or 4th and 10 with a 55 yard kick coming. I’m probably declining it too. This is starting to feel like Butch Jones Jr just a level below it.. as I appreciate what he has done as picking this program back at a level but I don’t see it getting to another level with him at hand..unfortunately that’s how a lot of us feel I believe.
Some of his decisions are really questionable, why is he not taking the penalty when the fg kicker is nailing everything. Maybe I need to sleep on it..
