I think Golesh would actually push back against Heupel, and Halzle is just a "yes man".I don’t disagree. The most frustrating part is prior to 2023 Heupel was not like this. I don’t know what has happened but after that 2022 season he lost his killer mentality that he even had with the prior teams. Maybe Golesh really was the difference maker.
I also think that the defense was made better by having to practice against Golesh's offense; iron sharpen iron and all.
