What difference does it make being year 5? We have made the playoffs. We have beaten Bama twice. We average 9+ wins a year. And this is the first season we have crossed the blue chip ratio threshold after dealing with recruiting limitations the first few years. We will be all right.

Sometimes. But more importantly he gets paid the big bucks to not listen to retarded fans who want to fire a coach the first time he loses a game his team was favored in each season. He gets paid the big bucks to realize we win tonight easily if players execute routine assignments. And no, coaches can’t prevent players from screwing up. Even Saban’s guys occasionally laid an egg. He just had the luxury of an unprecedented talent gap. Something that no coach today has.

Too many mistakes. Emotional people want to point the finger and take it out on somebody.
We were headed to 10 or 14-0 till the fumble 6. Changed the game. More mistakes compounded.

I don't think many people around here are watching other SEC football games, but it's a battle out there every week. Even the best teams are fighting for their lives most weeks. If you get sloppy and turn the ball over, you're probably going to lose.

Our guys just seemed off tonight and we shot ourselves in the foot over and over. The oddsmakers had this game at basically a tossup, with us having a slight advantage at home. In a matchup like this, if you aren't locked in, you're going to get beat.

No he doesn’t. That’d be dumb. He had a great gameplan tonight and called a good game. 1 play (fumble) changed the outcome of the game even though our QB threw 2 dumb interceptions, their kicker made 3 50+ yarders and our kicker missed inside 40. It be like that sometimes.

that is probably ture. It is unlikely that the next 5 coaches hired wins a championship at UT. odds are pretty low for that to happen and most hires, 80% or more, don't win a championship.

Tennessee has had 3 of the 27 coaches in their history win a National Championship. it ain't easy to do..
