I agree, I told some friends and my wife before I walked out of the room, either take the FG or try to run it in but not up the middle.I was afraid of an Int but I did not think it would be a pick 6. All I heard coming out of the room was wth was that call and as I was walking back in all I seen was the Bama player crossing the goal line. I knew then we were in trouble.

Moving on to Kentucky. 24 hour pout window for me is closed. On a mission trip so didn't see the game. Know we had chances and made mistakes. Lost at night to one of best teams in country on the road. Use KY to right the ship. Anyone thinks CJH is on the hot seat is an idiot. Anyone thinks Offense is a gimmick is an idiot. Defense needs work. They're aware. Carry on.

I barely care about the NFL but I want to see our Vols do well in teh league. No one does. The negative recruiting has to be deafening.

We know the truth but everyone gets upset when it’s discussed. The scouts are right. Our players are system players. The system makes qbs, receivers, rbs, TEs and OL better than they actually are. It is a great college system but we need someone to succeed in the NFL.

We’ve done a pretty good job of exposing our weaknesses over the last three games. And we have yet to prove ourselves against a quality opponent. So I’m not too shocked. In fact, I’m more shocked they didn’t drop us to 20-25. I’m content with 17th.

He declined. I tagged @ChattaTNVol to see if he wanted to do it, but no response. I don’t have time to do it anymore, not so much this year, but I’m starting my own practice next year and definitely won’t have time. Need to go ahead and get someone else to do it and change our mojo for this year.

You cant stop tempo, that’s when our offense is at its best-when we are going warp speed. Last year I think our offense wasnt as good because we didnt run the tempo, and on Saturday we didnt run tempo as much which is part of the reason why our offense struggled

We tried the few times we could on Sat. Really truly I do not believe in conspiratorial nonsense, The amount of Refs inserting themselves, and standing over the ball at opportune times is absolutely eye opening.

We try to go warp speed after a big chunk play and it almost always inevitably bites us. We run that stupid zone play and either get a false start on the OL or the RB gets a TFL. Hardly ever positive yardage. Tempo doesn’t always go in our favor.

how many times has it worked?

didn't they say we have one of the highest red zone percentages in Country? could be making that up. Ultimately you have to look at what you had been doing well, and then werent. Alabama was fired up, in red zone they were absolutely eating us up.

OL wont its match ups between the 20'a but then couldnt push inside. That's a credit to the Tahd.

If I had to give an excuse I would assume since he is so involved in the playcalling aspect of those 2 minute offensive possessions, he is having a difficult time of multitasking his HC responsibilities of managing the clock.

I believe playcalling and clock management are one in the same. I know he's a good play caller so I guess he's just not good with the clock. That can be fixed with hiring someone that is knee deep in analytics.

When you're on the road, in that part of the stadium (absolute loudest), with a QB who's never played there. Yes, take points.

I also like the tone setting, going for broke. Imagine punching it in there. Bama comes back out of halftime not feeling as great.

Run the damn ball.

The 'tide' shifted with INT. Anyway, as tough a learning lesson as could be taught. Learn, move on.

Come on now. Coaches can get blame along with players. It’s not always on the players. Coaches coach how to tackle. Does he get credit for the tackling last year and is immune for it this year?

Mike is a good wide receiver who needs more confidence. Once he gets his groove, he will be very good as he is always getting open.
