I agree, I told some friends and my wife before I walked out of the room, either take the FG or try to run it in but not up the middle.I was afraid of an Int but I did not think it would be a pick 6. All I heard coming out of the room was wth was that call and as I was walking back in all I seen was the Bama player crossing the goal line. I knew then we were in trouble.so many things wrong with the play call. No spreading the defense. Even that play call to the other side of the field would have left more wiggle room around a potential error. Short side of field, soft pass, inside. Heck with the situational football fake pass handoff would have been at least unexpected. Just simply too basic of thought process there, so much so that everyone knew what has happening, and not a high success rate play.
