Exactly. One of my favorite things about this Trump administration is that they refuse to appease these Globalist Lefties running most countries in the EU. They hate us, criticize us constantly...then want to blow all of their GDP on garbage Leftist social engineering, huge entitlements, and the intentional islamification of Europe. All the while refusing to spend even the minimum 2% of GDP on defense that is required of all NATO nations for membership. They expect US to keep the shipping lanes open...US to maintain a nuclear arsenal sufficient to deter BRICS countries from attacking them . Bunch of freeloaders and leeches. They need to pull their own damn weight. Now.

IMO, I see no difference in North Korea and Iran. On my level of classification I’ve been told both countries leaders are bat shot crazy. With North Korea leading in the category of how many US presidents said they won’t have a bomb, but they do.

Having said that I’m in the opinion had Trump somehow ended the Ukraine war under his own timeframe the US would have or now be dropping bombs in Iran.

Reminds me that a container ship bringing some raw material my company just purchased from Slovenia, is the same ship that dropped a container or two in the Red Sea in 2023 when hit by a Houthi missile. Fun times.

This is interesting. I don't think Israel would make a move without assurances from neighbors. And those assurances would require some extra sauce these days.

My guess is this is tied to recent reports that US is pressuring Israel to wind up it's operations against Gaza. And that as part of a deal the US and is allies in the region have agreed to run some interference on the Iranian response to any strike.

Though it's hard for me to imagine these allies would like an escalation of hostilities, I can see a scenario where they want to keep Iran from expanding influence and strongholds with it's proxies. All this is bad for business.

I just texted with my cousin who is stationed out of San Diego. Said he didn't know any specifics and couldn't tell me if he did.......... But that chatter is Iran is about to take a huge loss. Thinks if Israel and the US act he expects it to be decisive.

If you can possibly achieve at least some of your objectives peacefully, through dialogue you try. You should anyway.

I'm not all in on direct conflict with Iran. I have reservations, I think anyone should. But I do think it's inevitable given their ambitions and ideology, and if you feel you have to act you hit hard and leave no doubt.
