Very strange to me that these countries are ok with Iran having a bomb. So much so to not support the stopping of it.

He doesn't need Netanyahu in his ear to tell him what a nuclear nuclear capable Iran means. Though at this point it's moot. It's inevitable I fear.

What I don't understand is his neighbors in the region standing down. Given his penchant for arming rebel groups with sophisticated systems to destabilize local governments.

I actually wonder if there is. I think it's a moot point, you can't stop them from getting over the crest of the hill without all out war......... Maybe in absence of all out war the plan is likely to manage what comes next without increasing tension.

That's the only take that I can come up with, maybe y'all have more.

north korea was able to figure it out, and they can't even feed their people. I wouldn't put it fully in the cold fusion bucket just yet.

Last I heard estimates were about year out......... But that was 10+years ago. I realize they shut it down for some period of time through agreement. But the point still stands that any number is ambiguous.

I was speaking with my cousin who has worked into a lifelong Navy man a month ago. Said he was thinking about trying to get back to the "Eastern" fleet because of the concern for conflict with China.

Wonder if he feels differently now.

I'd say Netanyahu told Trump it's a matter of weeks. Same thing he's been saying since early Obama days.

The Israelis are second to none in gathering intelligence despite their isolation.

When these determinations are made I doubt it's from a single source but more on a spectrum of estimates from various agencies.

It's not always the "sneaky lying Jews". But to that point I'm sure Netanyahu is using some intelligence on the generous side to hide preferred position to drum up support. It's a pretty common tactic nations and conglomerates use all the time.

I didn't mean that as hyperbole. He's been saying for years that Iran's on the cusp of being able to launch nuclear missiles.

Why do you constantly cheer for the death of other humans?

War with Iran would be like Iraq on steroids. That one took a huge chunk out of the usa and Iran would likely finish the job. That excites you?
