Absolutely NOT true. Outside of Martinez, very few were bitching about Banks. Just because you type it, doesn't make it true. Not sure how many could complain about the D, they were why we made the playoffs, not the offense. You bitch about what you wanna bitch about and I'll do the same. I don't need your advice on what to think. You do you and I'll do me. Can you understand that?

The offense has been **** the last few years, try to understand that!
Except it is true. I will disengage.

I think the best way to describe last year is that they were all trying to be professional when they got between the lines and keep all of the drama contained to the facility. There were guys that were over it all by the time of the playoff game.
Not to pressure anyone into betraying specific information, but would you be willing to clarify? They were over the situation with Nico or something else?

I'm not saying it wasn't true. I know our fans, many will bitch just to bitch. But the reasonable ones know that Banks did a really good job. Our offense hasn't done anything since Golesh left, QB production and development has not gotten better and the WR,'s haven't improved. A few of our dum dum fans complaining about Banks still doesn't take away the Defense's production and improvement the last few yrs, unlike our offense. That's all I'm saying. Not like I'm saying something that we've all haven't said or thought. Stats ND numbers don't usually lie.

With Nico for sure. There was also an element of frustration with the offensive coaching staff over the amount of rope given to Nico. He was a problem but he was enabled somewhat by our staff. I love Heupel and believe his best days are to come, but he learned a tough lesson with all that transpired last year.

I truthfully can see why they didn't trust Nico. It looked like he struggled making reads and being quick with his decisions. I could be wrong, but definitely how it looked

He struggled against any defense with a pulse. He's an all world talent but the game never slowed down for him. Terrified to make a mistake made him miss even routine checks that a Sophomore HS QB can make. From what I was told by 2 former QB's that saw him firsthand, he was not making a jump through winter and spring. Just more of the same from last season.

Cool. Where did Dunham commit after ND lead ? You’ll come back and say that’s one example. I’ll cite another one. If you don’t think there’s a problem with offensive recruiting in general and receiver in particular then that’s fine. I’m not sure you’re right. I hope I’m wrong. Either way I’m not arguing about it.

How much were we offering Keys? How much did LSU offer him? How are those NIL deals structured? What else was tied to the deals?

How much did Dunham get from ND? How did that compare to his other offers and the structure of those contracts?

You’re working with limited information. We all are. We have no idea what’s being discussed or what happens in any of these recruitments. That’s why on the pods they have continually stressed over the last year (really last couple years) that “all that could change”, “you never know nowadays”, etc

And all of that + the knowledge that we don’t have the deepest pockets. We’re competitive NIL wise but not with the top of the top.

And he was wanting more money, that's crazy. Guess him leaving was what was best for us in the long run. That definitely makes sense. Hopefully Aguilar, Mark, GMac and Brandon don't have those same issues.

I don't know anything first hand about Aguilar besides what someone has told me or from watching the same videos as everyone else. I do know for a fact that both Merk and Gmac want to be at Tennessee. GMac could be very special and he is as Orange as any player has ever been. I know everyone talks about FB as the next great hope but anyone sleeping on GMac just doesn't get how talented and already respected that guy is.

Haha.. I've been trying for 2 years to get tickets to see them. My son is special needs and have been trying to get a group of tickets for him, his friends and parents. No luck, so far.
They just ran down the Hill at Clemson. Naturally my immediate thought is that I want to see them run through the T.

Love to hear that about GMac. I definitely have high hopes for him. Plus, like you said he wants to be here. Should be a helluva QB Competition in '26.

7 scholarship receivers and 3 are freshman. We are one injury away from being in trouble 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️
That's my biggest concern. When did we last go through a year when we didn't have any WR injuries? The potential is off the charts, but no way there's any leadership in that room.

I really don't understand what is going on........ But something has to give.

I have a sneaking suspicion negative recruiting has something to do with it........ And there's only one way to change the narrative.

The lack of depth in numerous spots is making everybody antsy

Understandable about the lack of numbers at some positions, they’ll get people. There’s been more hits than misses with our staff in the portal even if the names we land aren’t the sexiest.
