The U.S. has nothing to worry about directly. Europe was going to collapse anyway, which is what all the panic is about.... time table just got sped up though.

Russia lost a bunch of guys and will win most of their goals , and the Ukraine is mostly not salvageable, and Europe is now on deck.

Both would have prevented Ukraine from using the weapons in any capacity outside of a dirty bomb. The reason both Russia and the US wanted the nuclear weapons out of Ukraine was to prevent their corrupt government from selling them.
