I'm sorry, but he was overthrowing guys by 10+ yards left and right. I don't blame that on the rain. We had guys open downfield all game and he was just throwing with reckless abandon, just like he has done for literally YEARS. I personally hope he throws for 400 yards and 5 TDs against Clemson, but I just don't have any reason to believe he is capable of that based on what he has done when he is the starter (not what he has done in mop up duty).

I mean are there very many, or any, QBs out there capable of throwing for 400 yds and 5 TDs vs Clemson?

He looked good enough to beat out Hendon Hooker…. The coaching staff wants him to be the qb and has faith in him…. It’s up to him to get it done…. Last season and the Vandy game mean absolutely nothing as to how he will perform.
He looked better in practice than Hooker but I;m going to quit responding cause I hope he is successful. If he is successful then UT is successful.

All we can do is trust the coaches and let what happens on the field of play speak for itself.
Personally, I think Milton has a monster year next year. Flashback to Tee Martin in '98.

Did Tee have a monster year? It's more like our defense had a monster year, and Tee didn't lose games.

The real demon to slay is Georgia. Kirby is currently in the spot long held by Saban. We have to topple that bastard and claim the top of the mountain as our own.
I can attest that every UGA fan I know truly believes that they are in the beginnings of a Sabanesque dynasty. It's sickening.

That's all that we want. I just need to see it for myself cause I remember the beginning of the year when we ALL were frustrated with him missing wide open WR's. All I am saying I need and want to so see his improvement. Nothing against Joe he has all the talent in the world. Reminds of of Russell with LSU. Had a huge arm but couldn't adjust especially in the pro's. Not trying to be negative. Just saying come Orange Bowl I hope he blows me away. Util then I just need to see him drive down the field with consistency and blow Clemson away.
