Heupel can scheme open any wr, I'm not worried about that position. OL and QB accuracy are my only concerns.Hendon Hooker gone & maybe the best season by a wide receiver in WRU history…. If you’re Hyatt, you’re going pro. No offense but I don’t think I want to hitch my wagon to Joe Milton and a green Nico.
*Jalin if you’re reading this, prove me an idiot!!!
ESPNTennessee: Nicholaus Iamaleava, QB
2023 ESPN 300 ranking: 32
Iamaleava is a 6-foot-6, 195-pound quarterback from Downey, California, and is ranked as the No. 6 pocket-passer in the country. He is the highest-ranked commit in the class and followed his 2,244-yard, 33-touchdown junior season with 1,986 passing yards and 25 touchdowns as a senior.
Both Hendon Hooker and Joe Milton III are seniors and coach Josh Heupel will need a new quarterback. The staff have sophomores Gaston Moore and Navy Shuler, as well as freshman Tayven Jackson, but none have a significant amount of experience.
Given the lack of depth, Iamaleava should have an opportunity to come in and compete right away.
ESPN doesn't know that Milton is returning? Holy crap!
I'd feel better about a shootout with Hendon. I have serious doubts about the offense with Joe.
I would like to say I have no idea what to expect from him, but after his Vandy game performance...I am pretty sure what to expect and it ain't good.
I hope I am wrong and the Joe we have seen dropping dimes all year plays a full 60 minute game.
If he had hit those wide open passes the other night we would have hung 70+ and 700+ on them.
All he has to do is hit those passes and we will roll on anybody.
Actually it does. One free transfer as an undergrad and then you can transfer as a graduate transfer and play immediately. They were talking on the pod about this scenario and Wesley walker
The only transfer that needed a waiver was bru who has transferred 3 timesAnyone can transfer any time they like, but not for a free transfer exception. It is a one time exception. Lots of people didn't believe me last year and then they finally saw it with our own transfers needing waivers.
It's just that most GTs have an easy-out, insofar as there's a well-known waiver excuse that if your new school offers a grad program your old one didn't (just choose one) they'll basically always approve your waiver. But it is not an exception. It's a waiver.
