Possibly but I thinks it’s more how we lost rather than who we lost to.

I know what he's doing, but it's still not true. Anyone who watched that game knows our defense had no plan. Unless the plan was to suck ass and make Rattler look like a stud. In that case, the plan worked.

Dont agree. It was unacceptable. But, we were playing Will Wright, a walk on.

Dumb take...that is as catastrophic as a loss can get. Lots of defenses playing lots of lower rated guys and walk-ons don't give up historically bad numbers.

Doubt we beat them next year. Beamer can recruit and will clean up in the portal again. Players love the guy. They will be more talented than us next year.

You could have said that going into this year. They literally had the same record as us in Y1 and were only 1 spot behind us in talent and playing at home.

Now Hype is a solid 3 wins past him in Y2. Recruiting much better. The gap is widening and we'll have them in Neyland. Looking at a mere 8% of the season is a terrible barometer ofc. Otherwise you're just like the overly tunnel visioned "we'll never lose to the bottom 4 in the East ever again" folks that ignore variance and the fact of what rollercoasters sports are.

Banks and Martinez suck at their job and need to go...I have defended them all year...until now..I will not defend them anymore. That game was an indefensible and inexcusable firable offense.

It's up to the head man but getting your @ss lit-up like that... in our situation and against that offense... will almost always get coaches on that side of the ball fired.

I agree! Dammit we went from being the hot team, Kirk and others talking about how great our offense is and telling Heupel he’s rooting for us on the Playoff Rankings show, etc to now being the national joke seems like Kirk also said last Saturday that South Carolina could upset us, I sure hope he was joking about Vandy doing the same.

The positive here for Joe is Vandys secondary is actually worse than ours. Not by much but it is.

It doesn't matter how bad their secondary is if Joe consistently misses wide open receivers and doesn't identify the recievers coming open. I hope he is over that stuff...if he is, then he could put up great numbers.

I have no idea what to expect...in my mind there is an equal chance of either possibility.

It's already been said by people in the know that big changes are very unlikely to be coming down this year.

People went from "STABILITY!!" to firing folks after one game Even after that awful performance we are still 4 PPG (allowed) better in just one year. We were 7+ PPG better right before playing in quicksand.
