This season has been a rollercoaster. Alabama the highest high and SC/Hendon injury the lowest of low. I can't get over it, either.
On a scale from 1-100, 100 being absolute satisfaction and 1 being absolute mediocrity (0 would represent a tie game) where does the Bama win rank? All things considered, I'd say 95.

On a scale from -100 to -1 with -100 being the absolute worst loss that could ever happen and -1 being as satisfied with a loss as possible (0 being a tie) where does the SC loss rank (excluding Hendon's injury). I'd say it's in the -90 range.

It's crazy to have such an extreme high and extreme low in just a few weeks.

I'm not big on hypotheticals, but I wouldn't trade for a Bama loss and SC win.

Anyway, I could see where some people may say the loss hurt more, but that's only because we won the other big games. SC loss wouldn't have hurt so much if we'd already lost to Pitt, UF, LSU, Bama, etc.

It's great to be in a position where so much matters this late in the year and emotions become so extreme, win or lose. Our guys are on track and still way ahead of schedule. Hopefully the defensive issues are identified and fixed.

This week has been a total opposite of after the Alabama win. They are coming from far and wide to pile on this one.

I’m happier being piled on than pitied.

If I ever hear some Bammer say “I’m rooting for you guys to be good again, just for the rivalry” it’ll be too soon.

By the way, we learned that was always a load of 🦬💩 this season after we beat them.

That is exactly what I am talking about...why in the hell did he not do that Saturday when that is exactly what he should have done? That is mind boggling stupid...it is inexcusable coordinating.
I hate the fact that we, as fans, can realize, but the coaches didn't. . .they must've had a reason. . . man, I hope they had a good reason. If they just didn't think of doing it. . . eek!

Don't care a ton about single game lows. This season has been far too fantastic to be bummed about any one single thing. Those memories and the rise of our prominence can never be taken away. Hell I'd probably sign up for 1-11 each year if you could promise me a win like Bama's every year 🤣 (ok maybe not quite but...)

That was my favorite win since '98 Fiesta... and honestly even moreso because I could appreciate this 10x more. That was the greatest win I can really remember and appreciate. The more I thought about it during the season the more I realized a GA win...an SECT in an away stadium...nothing but a natty MIGHT have topped it. To see on national TV 100k+ folks smoking cigars, riding goalposts, all while CBS just let it ride and let the nation take it all in...freaking magical.

People suddenly forgot it was house money all along....."Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened."

That WAS worse...in some ways that team was loaded on both sides of the ball and lost to a glorified HS team...at least SC is a SEC team and has almost even talent.

The differences are in what the losses cost each team. This years was a far worse loss because not only did it knock us out of the playoffs, it was so horrific score wise that it also knocked us out of the f'n Sugar Bowl.

96 Tennessee with Peyton Manning losing to Tiger High would be the equivalent of this years Bama team with Bryce Young and Anderson and all that other 5* talent getting beat by South Alabama.
Bad loss.

Isn’t it funny how some people are saying “get over it,” regarding a game that happened just 3 days ago, and we haven’t even gotten over a game form 1996. LOL.

This staff has no red flags in my book and won’t for another couple of years - they just need to learn from Saturday and move on, like everyone else

Red flags, hot seats and coaching searches are for the birds
Banks and Martinez suck at their job and need to go...I have defended them all year...until now..I will not defend them anymore. That game was an indefensible and inexcusable firable offense.
