If we had lost 38-34 or something like that, then I for one could deal with it...but..

That was not just a "bad" loss, that was a horrid nightmarish catastrophically awful loss..

That is why I am so infuriated at the play calling and effort...and it is understandable..period.

I heard it was the most points we’ve given up since the Gilded Age. When something like that happens, I think it’s fair to ask questions about the defensive staff. Tough questions. “Should you keep your job” type questions.

Milton going beast mode in this game would absolutely turn the national narrative on us completely around. Instead of talking about that loss, all they will be talking about is our Heupel and his offense.

Why did they add time?? Because of the tie?? I do not know the specific rules..lol

They don’t stop the clock when a player is injured or when celebrations after goals take place. The field ref just starts a stop watch and adds that time back after the 90 minutes ends.

While I do agree with you, think about that defensive performance. Are we to believe that SC is better offensively than Bama, UGA or LSU? I mean seriously. Has our defense even been remotely as bad as it was against SC? No. Not even close. So what does that say? Well if there had been similar performances like that since Heupel has been here, then we could say well that’s our defense. But this is a one off, once in a generation type of game.

Our defense is not nearly as bad as it looked against SC. I don’t know if it’s the Banks situation or something else but the team looked TOTALLY different than at any point since Heupel has been here.

Because his trajectory as a Defensive coach got him a head coaching job. Look at what he did with OSU DBs. He has NFL experience and can recruit.
