There are many coaches that get more from there players than Tim Banks. Banks has never really even been a DC.

These added time numbers have been crazy. +14 and +10 in the England game, and +9 in our game.

Good coaches don't need the best players to field a competitive team. With an offense like the vols have, we only need 3-4 stops a game. Everyone SC has played this year has managed that. Many with much less talent than is over there now. Many with recruiting ranks far below 20. I'd venture to guess some over 50.

I have seen it posted several times, "they do not have the players or talent to coach". Seems like to me that they were blaming the players instead of coaching. Players are only as good as they are coached. R Garner is the best coach on D and its not close. The rest can go kick rocks. Ekeler is worth keeping. A good DB or DC will put its players regardless of stars in the best position to suceed but these clowns do well to get them lined up in the right position on the field.

Because we realize even the greatest coaches have to have talent to win. We don't have talent in the secondary.

Lets use Bama for an example, look at all the talent they have on D and look at what Tenn did to it. LSU & AM even exposed it. Saban more than likely is going to fire his DC at the end of the year and probably his OC also. You can have all the talent in the world but if you do not have the coaching then it means nothing.
