Right. If we decided 8-4 would be a successful season in June, then fast forward to January and see 8-4 without knowing how the season played out, why would it be a failure? Once we hit 8 wins, preseason expectations are met. Anything beyond that success is icing on the cake. That's like saying if you're 14-0 and lose the national title game that's a disappointing SEASON.
People are missing that Enki is talking about the SEASON not some section of the season. He's talking about the full picture from beginning to end.
I thought from the report and stories I read when it came out that JMs girlfriend and the other male at the scene (which I think we know is Burrell now?) had given statements to the police on scene. If they had done that and the report didn’t mention that there were two different outlines of events, the victims version and the witnesses version, then I assumed they had corroborated the victims story.
With this new piece today, it seems like they didn’t give statements at the time and instead did like JM and waited for lawyers. Smart move if so, and if they did, then I have a much different view of the incident now than originally. All this time I thought the victims story had been corroborated at the scene by the girlfriend and another guy.
Exactly. The guy could have been punched in the apartment. He stumbles out, already drunk and now uneasy from a punch attempts to go down the stairs. At some point he stumbles and falls. The people there convince him to not get up and keep moving but rather sit still and collect himself as to not hurt himself further. Blood forms from him remaining in the position he’s in.
It’s not hard to have both parts true.

Very true, thanks for the update there. Should be alot of portal opportunities available for sureVQ guys said that "most of the hay is in the barn" for the 23 class, gaining a lot of momentum and doing a lot of work on the 24 class.
But, we still have some guys we're trying to reel in for 23 - Hobbs, UK commit Keith, Ramil were the ones that they mentioned.
I do think we will have some opportunities to flip, BUT this isn't like recruiting of old where you just really have to go all out for the class. We can save some spots for guys we think/know will transfer, or surprises that end up in the portal.
That’s too easy. Second hand information and rumor is much more entertainingFor anyone interested in reading it directly.

I guess what bugs me...if you go through due process at what point would ANYONE in their sane mind objectively think this deserved a felony assault charge?
I'm going out on a limp and assuming the drunk guy must have someone in the family with some bread. Gross negligence on the police involved in this one. Take the drunks statement, interview all the witnesses, then follow-up with everyone and interview again days later to see if any stories change or details get altered.
The fact JM got charged so quickly is extremely disappointing...even if he wasn't a Vol just seems like someone decided "guilty" from the beginning.
Its tough when have a former Vol simping for them at a major midstate training center. That certainly doesn't help.I am fully in favor of a beatdown. I don't want to make UK any more of a "rivalry" than they already think it is. And the sooner we shut down that mid-state pipeline they've worked so hard to build, the better.
