He lost me when he said Heupel's offense is similar to Leach's. When I hear people say that, it tells me they either don't know football or they aren't really watching the games because they are 2 polar opposite offenses. They are literally nothing alike.

Looks like he's a UGA beat writer. I guess I smell fear and desperation. And I hear the whistles past the graveyard.

Yea, a buddy of mine who is a MSU alum have talked about our offenses being somewhat similar. I can't say that I've watched them play much. But, now after watching a couple of series against Bama and looking at the numbers (passes thrown downfield), they aren't alike. Leach passed on 3rd and inches and 4th and inches against Bama. Heupel would never do that.

Leach uses short passing game a lot where the passes are really like runs. We seem to go more vertical routes. Maybe I am wrong….their routes just look different

I can’t find it now, but there is video from a bachelor group at a bar in Florida I think. They were UT fans and they are hammered. One dude tried to jump from a bar to hang in the TV and it did not end well. Video stopped before you could tell if he was alive

Yes, Right now it’s:

1. TCU (7-0)
2. Oklahoma State (6-1)
3. Kansas State (5-2)

The next teams have 3+ losses. So realistically, but not definitely, the championship will involve 2 of those 3 teams and Oklahoma State plays Kansas State this weekend. Big game. TCU doesn’t play another ranked team (current rankings) the rest of the regular season.

The Air Raid Leach runs is about volume and YAC. Doesn't use tempo really to force teams to misalign or tip their coverage early, doesn't run much at all and the RPO is basically non-existent in his system, rarely uses wide splits, almost never has WRs driving deep on routes, and his QBs usually know where they are going pre-snap without much progression.

I think he's made his offense more one dimensional than the system Heupel runs.

Miss St doesn’t have the explosiveness of UT’s offense. They don’t have the players for it and they don’t have the design for it.

I'm still running on hot about Jermaine Burton issues (me and Bama "friends" having it out) primarily because of the blatant and disgusting cover up. I've got an idea to fire it back up some more, but I will need some help from some of the Twitternados (@Enki_Amenra) here on VN and a little fact checking:

So the video of the female has been out there, and as some have noted, nothing has been said on the male he swung at. well now that they are alluding to her using a slur, it seems the perfect time to show the guys video that is POV with sound (fact check me here) so now it can be shown that nothing was said, and no one was in danger, and yet he still swung. If we can have some people start tweeting that video to the likes of Clay Travis, Wes Rucker, Chad Withrow, the guy from USA today, and the guy from Alabama; then we could keep this news cycle going and maybe put more pressure on Saban. This is even better now that they're going into a night game in Death Valley.

Any thoughts? I'm really wanting to burn down their program.

Yeah I just don’t see it with Iowa State. Texas is the big game left for them IMO but I think TCU has the team to win it. Would love to be wrong tho. I don’t think they win a rematch vs Oklahoma State though if that’s the championship. I’d prefer a 2 loss big 12 champ though so bring on some upsets.

I feel like he's our guy...but I am most BVS about seeing what happens once the "new" wears off. Butch just imploded in year 5, Pruitt did it in year 3, Dooley never did anything so not sure it was a letdown or par for the course.

We've had a few things go right this year that's lead to us being ahead of schedule I think. LSU & Florida both falling off and breaking in new coaches...Bama basically coming in unprepared and Hooker being as good as he is and Hyatt having a monster bounce back year. Plus the OL just being so much better than most of us would have expected, no egos or divas in that group either and they are all wanting to win the best OL award. Don't care about individual awards whatsoever.

I think Heupel doesn't care about what the fans think. It seems like he's got his own goals and is on a mission to accomplish them. . . we're just lucky to be along on the ride. I don't think it mattered what big school gave him a chance, he was going to do what he's doing regardless. I'm just happy it's at UT. Thank You Danny White!

I think Heupel loves the fans and wants to please us. Our opinions may mean jack squat, but I think he loves entertaining us. I think he loves the entire environment that has existed this season. Listen to his comments after almost every game and he thanks the fans for all they bring.
