I wouldn’t be surprised if Nebraska went after Meyer. But if not him then another name is Coach Chadwell at Coastal Carolina. Young guy and very intriguing coach. Highly thought of across the profession and tremendous schemer

No big school touched Chadwell yet. Wonder what that’s about

Because I look at comparative scores.
I know they don’t correlate in every situation but I think they do the majority of the time.
When evaluating how good Pitt is, I look at who they barely beat but were outplayed by (WVU) who just lost at home to perennial doormat Kansas.
Majority of the time?

There is no transitive property of sports match ups. What you are implying virtually never holds up, much less holds up the majority of the time. Especially across multiple games. I assure you if it did, betting on games would be way easier.

Preach. Everything went against us and we still won.
I agree with your point, but everything didn't go against us in my opinion. We played horrifically and still won I think is a better way to phrase it. Refs didn't hurt us, injuries didn't hurt us, luck didn't hurt us. You could say most things out of our control went in our favor. We played well below our potential and still won, which is encouraging.

Bru McCoy has the future star quality. So glad we got him.

Tyler Baron was a beast yesterday. Young and him are going to be a handful all season.

Banks and Beasley - so glad program stuck with them and they figured it out. Beasley is making TooToo look like the pile checker he is.

Haddon is that dude. McDonald is special.

O-line needs assignment work, especially Spraggins. They have the beef and talent to get it done.

Hooker needs to relax - too hyped up at the start. Once he takes some hits he settles in. Heup needs to account for that with play calling.

We are going to smoke UF and it will be because of defensive improvement. The O is going to be scoring points in bunches.

I’m sorry but Texas is not the 7th best team in the country. Marshall is nowhere near a top 15 team lmfao
Saw another one that had them 6.

I can buy that Texas is probably one of the top 15 teams in the country based on the eye test. Top 7? I think you need to win that game yesterday to go from unranked to top 10.

It really seems like Kentucky has lost their fear of Florida and even playing in the Swamp. Whereas we still pucker instantly when we see those orange and blue uniforms, and doubly so when the game is in Gainesville.

Florida has been painfully mediocre for over a decade now and we should have about 5-6 wins against them since 2010. It's so frustrating.

Last year Pitt lost to Western Michigan. Then they won the ACC. Western Michigan finished 6th in their own division in the MAC.
