Maybe its my agnosticism but The Exorcist never really scared me that much when I was younger. The Shining and Nightmare on Elm Street messed me something fierce. Later on I saw The Descent, that's a movie I never want to revisit.

The Shining also messed with me a whole dang lot.

Other movies just never messed with me like The Exorcist. Nightmare on Elm Street made me laugh. The Shining was good, but didn't really scare me. Don't think I've seen The Descent.
