War in Ukraine

You remember the last time a nation went about consolidating their hold over the Pacific? Even more interesting is that at that same time another country was invading it's neighbors........ The parallels are impossible to ignore.
North Cypress?
Northeast Syria?
Yemen?
Kosovo?

I noticed that too. I never saw any insignia on the uniforms, so I'm going to call this a BS video.

Notice the blue tape around the magazine in the second guy's rifle? In our military blue is used to designate non lethal weapons and ammunition - practice rounds or blanks. Makes you wonder why someone moving munitions would bother having a rifle with practice rounds ... unless the video is real and blue has some other meaning in the Russian military.

But the US has a stable currency in comparison, right? No manipulation going on here...

Whether our currency is manipulated or not, the concept of a medium of exchange without something as a basis is BS. Currency is essentially a unit of measure, and all other scientific units of measure are derived from a repeatable standard. 5 tons of a specific grade of steel is definable; but when the steel is produced in one country and imported to another, to say the cost is a specific price per ton is meaningless because currency exchange rates are variable.

They're trying to make the people more hawkish than the government. Could backfire (make Putin look weak)
or Putin plans on stepping down and the state is priming a military man for the job and they want the transition smooth

They want to be their own independent nation. Which means they would be free from Russia, Ukraine and the United States
So in your opinion any group that wants sovereignty, even within the borders of an established country, should be granted statehood?

How do you reconcile Georgia being occupied by Russia with this line of thinking? Where do you draw the line?

You really have no other play than whataboutism do you. So when you look at the currency controls on foreign nationals and factor in all the other direct economic manipulation including actually prohibiting foreign nationals selling equities they own, the answer to your whataboutism is a resounding no. That invading bastard stands alone in this and there is no whataboutism play for you here.

Do us all a favor... renounce your US citizenship and move to Russia where you belong.

While I generally loathe and have little allegiance to the corrupt bankrupt US Federal Govt, I have no love for Russia but would support my State's secession from said loathesome Union.

So in a side discussion about consolidating power in the Pacific this is what you bring to the table? You're going to have to draw the straight lines to Japan and Germany in the 30's and 40's, and these examples for me.

You were so close. If you had said, "trust the science", you would have immediately won the argument.
