Ah yes. Dugway Proving Ground. Drive until you are convinced you are beyond the reach of any civilization or any piece of technology created in the last 100 years. Then drive for three more hours. Congrats you’ve reached DPG.

I'd rather be at Fort Polk a day after a cat 5 hurricane without power or air conditioning or the prospects of such for 14 days than to spend an hour at DPG.

Funny how independence movements spring up in areas Russia decided it wants to control.

Now, now. You know the Soviet leftovers in Russia would never stir the pot of discontent. But if they did, these would surely only be in the spirit of liberation. Like the little wars of liberation the Soviets provoked around the globe in the old days - they really loved Africa and SE Asia as post colonial plums. Ukraine and the other Soviet colonies could fit since they were Soviet colonies ... that seems a little too circular to most of us not in the Russia great/US bad camp.

Pretty much said the same thing a week or two ago. The Donbas cauldron was going to be costly for Ukraine. Even if his estimate is off by half, that is still 1000 mostly Ukrainian men with a few mercs mixed in.

Yeah the colonists should never fight back against the British's strongest military in the world.

DPG cannot be classified as a **** hole. In order to apply a classification like that one has to acknowledge the location somehow… “exists”. DPG is that enigma of a local that is the essence of not existing, it is a black hole for any kind of civilization.

I've never spent a minute on a Marine base but I understand that Twentynine Palms in California is one of the worst possible places to be stationed.

Never been there but it’s close to several other slices of the good life I’ve had the pleasure of enjoying in the Mojave. I’ll go ahead and apply the 💩 hole label to all of those.

Or.... Putin could have never invaded a sovereign country without provocation and billions of dollars, tens of thousands of lives, the russian economy, it's place as a perceived superpower and Putin's dignity - could have been spared.

But thanks for posting some dumbass victim blaming, vodka soaked, potato felching twitter account that you seem to be the only one fellating.

U.S. Spies helped Ukraine slaughter eight of Putin’s generals and at least 300 officers by giving them intelligence about Russian movements

US spies have helped Ukraine kill eight Russian generals and more than 300 officers since Putin's forces entered the country in February, it has been revealed, by providing the nation's military with intelligence about the movements of its Kremlin invaders.

On Tuesday, an analysis by independent Russian outlet MediaZona revealed that 317 officers of junior lieutenant rank and above have been killed in Putin's so-far failed invasion, in a little over two months of fighting.

Almost a third of the casualties came from the most senior grades - major or above - including a slew of generals and the deputy commander of Russia's Black Sea fleet.

Last week, in one of the most recent blows to the Russia larger and better equipped war machine, Moscow admitted yet another officer, Col. Mikhail Nagamov, had been killed in action, on April 13 - reportedly the 35th colonel to do so.

His death was announced just hours after the death of Alexander Chirva, captain of the Caesar Kunikov tank landing ship - which was blown up by a Ukrainian air strike in in the port of Berdyansk.

The steady stream of high-ranking soldier deaths comes as it's been estimated that between 15,000 and 22,000 Russian troops have been slain in combat by Volodymyr Zelenskyy's army - with Moscow only owning up to a fraction of those deaths.

Now, US officials say those deaths were only made possible by American intelligence, telling NBC News Tuesday that they have been engaged in a partnership with the Ukraine government that has seen them repeatedly flag the time and location of Putin's planned strikes.

I just looked at this again. Who he hell is sending revolvers to Ukraine? Is that you Spain? It has to be you or Italy.

Not that there's anything wrong with revolvers.

Interesting video to say the least. A lot of that stuff looks like junk and the AR-15 made by Diamondback is odd? Government firearm shipments would be from normal suppliers right, not small family companies?

On the one hand, I am like F YES, take THAT IVAN! and candidly, it makes sense since this is the most I have ever seen senior military officers get whacked in a fracas like this. No way Ukraine or even EU was doing that. Its as if we are marking them from the time they are in Russia and then have a laser tag on them from the sky while they are wandering around Ukraine, then feeding that directly to small HK teams on the ground.

On the other hand, I am not sure how I feel about the US publicizing this. Good as deterrent but not sure how this will reveal methods (to China especially) and also unsure how this works with our Russia relations (tho I suspect its at least breakeven since Ivan only understands a show of strength).
\
Question I have is - why are we releasing it? I am assuming for a clear and specific benefit - but what?

Well, now that a Putin has told us to not intervene I guess we'll have to knock that s**t off.

South Ossetia and Transnistria actually declared their independence all the way back in the early 90s.

I am not picking and choosing. I have no problem with most independent movements. Especially after what happened with the former Yugoslav Republic. Why is Kosovo allowed to be their own nation but Donetsk is not?

And it's not really Russia or Ukraine's choice. It should be left to the people of Donetsk and Luhansk. If they want independence then it should be fine.
But instead the russians immediately started arming the people of Donetsk, moved in troops, and eventually invaded the rest of ukraine. When another country is the main actor in a "revolution" it's hard to act like this is a real independence movement.

And it all happened overnight after Maiden. It's not like they had been rumbling for independence for a while and finally had enough. They just "decided" to up and leave, over night, and it just so happened that the Russians were right there ready for it. Real big coincidence. Did they even issue some official rebuttal to Maiden, or offer some diplomatic objection BEFORE they left? I know their Russian plants did afterwards.

It's also funny that Putin needed to sanctions to lift his economy up....

He cpuldnt figure out any other way of doing things, and this was just part of a plan?

My favorite part is when the US gave Ukraine the info to smoke 2 jets full of paratroopers..hundreds of them.

Implementing strict currency controls on international traders, not allowing international traders to sell their equities, and completely closing your stock market for over a week are all signs of a healthy thriving economy. Stop misrepresenting the situation louder.

I noticed that too. I never saw any insignia on the uniforms, so I'm going to call this a BS video.
