The fact that you are too obtuse to understand how stupid of a generalization your comments are makes it useless for me to argue.

Temper has nothing to do with where you are from, what color you are, or how intelligent you are. I like Sowell, but that is dumb.
Generalization? I clarified to make sure it was clear that I wasn't calling all modern southern culture or all redneck culture stupid--merely the idea of committing violence over words to protect honor.

I'm glad that you like Sowell, as his study on the matter was very detailed, historically attributed, well researched and documented. The Irish-Scots brought a very uneducated and violent culture to the old south. The old south was known to be a culture that was very violent and such violence would erupt at the smallest perceived slight--over the defense of honor. Sowell tied that culture (which he argues has been largely supplanted in southern whites) further, through slavery, as the root to (what he refers to as) the current black ghetto culture. Especially as a black writer, this made him very unpopular with many.

So, to reiterate, I am not and have not meant to say that all rednecks are stupid, nor the southern culture in general. I am a proud southerner, born and raised. I am, however, saying that a subset thought within some southern culture--that one should commit violence on another because of perceived slights, or in some futile effort to 'defend' honor from verbal insult--is stupid. It is a product of irrational, ungoverned violent time and place that can be replaced with better responses today.

If, in my brief treatment, I worded any of those thoughts in ways that offended you, it was unintentional and I genuinely apologize. If you are still offended by this most recent clarification, then so be it. There is no reason for either of us to lose sleep or peace over it.

That dude that hit the sign at the beginning and then stood by his car is the luckiest sob alive..when that SUV plowed into the back right of his car at high speed it literally spun around him...that was crazy....go watch it real slow, I missed it the first time...😳

Thought the same thing immediately. If you want to see what a real life it just isn’t your time to go yet moment looks like, that is as clear as it gets.

Why start a conversation or thought process or think that to be a so-called red-neck, you are from the south? There are groups of people all over our country who could be considered "red-neck" if you want to use that term. There has been some terrible things happen all over the country from some of the stupidest things that may have started by a simple spat between two people or name calling for that matter. And what would you or do you call all the groups of people who started riots, torched businesses, destroyed cars, etc all in the name of BLM or Wokeness, or Cancel Culture or all the rest of the ill-gotten terms? I've got a name for those that's much worse than redneck..................it's called criminals!

Definitely moving too fast for those conditions
Very good chance that someone driving too slow is what caused that to begin with.

Almost wrecked many times going over Afton in Virginia because someone decided they wanted to drive 45 mph in dense fog or snow.
