They don’t have a stadium to play it in…. Ours is being remodeled …..Nissan wasn’t available and I heard they checked on other options but nothing materialized…. Sucks though.

I'd rather the O&W game be closed to the public and on campus where we can invite specific recruits to make them feel important, than it be anywhere else (nashville/chatt/etc) if I'm being honest.

I think this is best case scenario for everyone given the renovations. I know most of the time the spring game is a fun easy "game" to take kids, but kids will probably enjoy the "fan fest" more where there'll be games and free stuff for them.

Spring game should be back to normal next year.

I mean, head to TTU, TSU, UTC, the Liberty Bowl, the new Nashville SC stadium, anywhere. It’s not like this was a surprise. The construction was approved last summer which gives 9+ months to plan. A smaller stadium might actually be better. Heck, loop it in with the Big Orange Caravan, and have recruits invited to mingle with boosters.

Just a missed opportunity, that’s all.

They're doing this with this version of the spring game, but on campus... which is the same idea, but better.

My take on the hire. Didn't really look like there were really any top WR coaches out there or CJH just didn't feel any of them fit. Or maybe CKP was just as good to CJH as the ones that were available and has proven himself over the time he has been there. The kids sure loved him. He knows the kids and the kids sure know him and would be an advantage to have CKP come Spring than a WR coach that was new to the program. Of course time will tell but I love it when new coaches work their tails off and get that big chance. GB0!!
