Oh if T Boone Pickens was still around I firmly believe OK State would be doing what Texas A and M is now.

That's the point though. We went 7-5 with him being injured most of the year. Definitely would have helped us, but that's why he can be replaced. If he had stayed healthy and scored 12 TD's, then maybe I have a different opinion.

NIL is one thing for recruits, but it can be very beneficial to current players. There is no reason why Hendon Hooker and Cedric Tillman can't have 6 figure deals from companies that currently sponsor the athletic department. The athletic department just has to realize that some of that re-allocated money won't be gained now but will be helpful in the long run. If you keep both and add more players, you go 8-4 next year or better, and other revenue streams go way up. The athletic department benefits. All you have to do is put Hooker or Tillman's picture on a sign, billboard, or in a video.

It's also a long shot, but if someone would pay Kennedy Chandler really good money, there is always a chance he stays another year. Plus, there is almost no downside for his endorsement because he will be in the NBA. I want a Kennedy Chandler signed playing card if anyone knows where to get them.

Easy to replace his 2021 production, but hard to replace his 2022 potential.

We’re willing to let Tiyon Evans go while going all in on Zachary Evans. ZE can probably replace that 2022 potential, but you also have to deal with the baggage.

Tough situation. No easy path I suppose.

family from Japan moved to Jackson, TN when I was about 14 and did some business with my dad, and his daughter was in my class. Family's grandfather was Zero Fighter pilot that attacked Pearl Harbor that day. They had us over for dinner one night............and we listened to their grandfather and my grandfather talk about that day from their own perspectives. It was one of the most memorable moments of my life.

Actually, the argument was not about who has the most money and resources wins the championships. It was about this spiraling out of control mercenary coaches, ADs, and players that is going to get even worse than the NFL....because they have limits. Fans of college football, as opposed to professional football, are already losing interest. If you like it....fine. Some want just some other minor league NFL. But to act like you "know" how this will turn out and already declaring it "good" is a little premature.

As far as the "passive aggressive condescension" which was a result of your "hyper aggressive condescension" because you disagree with others conclusions (because you care so much about others caring so much)...

Yeah, your condescension was met with the appropriate amount of "bless your heart" it deserved.
