Oh if T Boone Pickens was still around I firmly believe OK State would be doing what Texas A and M is now.Oh I fully expect it to level out some but the richer schools, schools with high roller boosters will continue to funnel huge amounts to the top, highest rated recruits. Don't think for a minute there won't be bidding wars between schools. It's already happening.
To be fair he was injured. He’s dynamic when actually on the field though. NFL talent if he can stay healthy.
That's the point though. We went 7-5 with him being injured most of the year. Definitely would have helped us, but that's why he can be replaced. If he had stayed healthy and scored 12 TD's, then maybe I have a different opinion.
IncredibleLong story short.........
family from Japan moved to Jackson, TN when I was about 14 and did some business with my dad, and his daughter was in my class. Family's grandfather was Zero Fighter pilot that attacked Pearl Harbor that day. They had us over for dinner one night............and we listened to their grandfather and my grandfather talk about that day from their own perspectives. It was one of the most memorable moments of my life.
It’s dumb ppl don’t check their notifications. Old posts get responded to and you miss it
Actually, the argument was not about who has the most money and resources wins the championships. It was about this spiraling out of control mercenary coaches, ADs, and players that is going to get even worse than the NFL....because they have limits. Fans of college football, as opposed to professional football, are already losing interest. If you like it....fine. Some want just some other minor league NFL. But to act like you "know" how this will turn out and already declaring it "good" is a little premature.Your argument is “whoever has the most money and resources gets the best recruits and wins the most championships” , which is different than it's been in the past....how? Since when hasn't college football been dominated by the big programs?
You think you're enlightening the rest of us, but your argument isn't nearly as strong as you think. Your condescension was met by the appropriate amount of scorn it deserved.
