Oh...almost forgot the Fort Walton eatery report.

Stewby's = really good, wish the portions was better for the price but everything was delicious
Rockin' Tacos = very tasty and had some unique stuff, went with the Gator Tacos
The Crab Trap = probably the best value of the places we went...but the beach volleyball tournament going on (wow) may have impacted this decision. Portions were better than the other spots and taste was still really good
Ali's Bistro = small Italian spot we hit up which was pretty fantastic although expensive (seems all Italian places are now though) one of the best Lasagnas I've had anywhere

Shake Shack = overrated, we hit it up on the way down as it was on the way. 3 burgers, 2 fries, 3 drinks and almost $50... great food sure, but just a burger nothing special or unique like Stock & Barrell offers
Whattaburger = had never had it and wanted to try it as a quick grab on the way home. 3 combo meals and shakes and it was like $35 bucks. Way better value than Shake Shack and honestly not much of a step down in quality

Tried to hitup the Shack but man was it always packed! Food choices for the entire trip were great, even the stuff I felt was a bit too pricey for what ya got were still good places to eat.

I’m holding out hope that our defense will continue to over perform and we can get some luck with injured folks on offense.

Still don’t think we win but covering 24 points should be well within reach.

Can we call it over performing at this point? I get after a few games but we are 7 games in and 3 of those opponents have very good offenses with 2 being in the top 10’in country with best QBs in country future first rd picks. At this point I think that is who we are is a good solid defense that plays with fire in our britches. I’m bought in with this group and believe they can keep us in any game.

PSA: Ben on Swain mentioned Greg McElroy is calling the game this weekend. He mentioned Greg has already been going in on TN fans for the past weekend so you know he’s going to bring it up at nauseam on Saturday. Bama fanboy + last weekends stuff = Mute button going on. You would think these networks wouldn’t allow former players of the teams they are covering to call the game but ESPN gonna ESPN. Hope there’s not a bammer officiating too. Rant over. Vols vs the 🌎
I will be listening so that I can hear him cry when we win.

Going to be in Orlando for a very quick trip Saturday afternoon evening. Good places to eat near UCF?

@utvols88 I am tagging you because I know you will have some great ideas.

Near UCF is mostly “college eateries”
if you want like spectacular food.
Cooper’s hawk is good but really that’s about it.
I’d shoot for winter park area which is about 15 minutes away.
These are pretty much my go to options when family comes to visit me
Italian: Panullos
Mexican: agave Azul
Japanese: Domu
Thai: Hawkers
American cuisine: Hillstone

Don’t think so. We can’t defend mobile QBs and our team is beat up a good bit. They’re favored by nearly 30. Rest up for UK
to be fair, Bryce Young doesn't run the ball basically ever unless absolutely necessary. i saw that in their game vs FL. Corral had 30 rushing attempts i imagine Young will only have like 3-4 if he plays like normal. We'll see if that changes with how bad Corral gashed us but just saying Young is always looking to pass before taking the 5 yards given on the QB scramble.

On the Milton thing... he screwed up. He knows he screwed up. If he's the best chance behind Hooker according to coach, then he's the best option behind Hooker. He's earned that from me. I'm puzzled by those that trust him on everything but don't on this.

On the Pruitt thing... he's garbage. He's a garbage human being, a garbage head coach, and he's a garbage defense coordinator. He's not the guru he's made out to be. He's built his reputation by having the best players on the field. He's built his recruiting reputation at places that it's easy to recruit to. Add to that places that have purchased their rosters for years, the dirtiest programs in college football.

To our lawyer friends on here, could the university counter-sue for damages incurred by his actions? Damage of reputation and monetary damages from possible NCAA sanctions.

Remember when I told y’all how much of a jerk he was?

Bryce also has 3 incredible WRs
Corral is a one man band

Yeah, that pitch was actually a good pitch. It should’ve been high enough that there was no way he could get on top of that and drive it, but somehow he did. He’s a former MVP for a reason. I’m afraid the Braves are going to look back at that moment and realize that is when they lost the series. Momentum is a huge thing in the playoffs. To have a 3-0 lead with two games at home, that would’ve been astronomical for the 2nd best team to overcome. It would’ve taken a major choke job. Now, the Dodgers get a bullpen game from the Braves tonight which could easily see them going off on offense and tying the series.
He got him to swing and miss on the one before it, but if you are going to go right back to it, he should have gone up the ladder more. I don't think the pitch was that good.

certainly will be the best WRs we have faced this year, no question about that. If we give them much time to throw the ball it won't matter if Bryce Young runs or not because they'll pick us apart throwing it. Gonna need a big game from our D line.

Good thing Young isn’t a runner. He has -2 rushing yards on the season. Mississippi state is the only game he had positive yardage all year (18 yards)
He’s more than capable of running and really elusive in the pocket. They just don’t run a lot of QB design runs like UT and OM do.

Here’s a secret. You’re awake the whole time.

With your manhood exposed.

With nurses present.

In a cold room.

With sharp objects all down there.

With the doc having a conversation with you.

With the smell of your vas deferens going up in smoke.

But it saved my wife from surgery I guess, or something like that.
My experience was not great.
1. I was supposed to get a prescription for a valium before the surgery to take that morning. I didn't get it until right before I went in so my nerves were shot.
2. I have a high tolerance to pain medicine and told the doctor that. He didn't give me extra and I felt some of the cutting. then he decided to use extra.
3. The valium kicked in after the surgery.
4. I had a hematoma so I was literally walking around with a nerf football in my pants for a few days.

Thank you very much. Will definitely check one of these places out.

While I agree he's had his time with the mic concerning the Col. Mustard debacle, he has had many good words concerning our improvement and the direction we are headed. He's still a Bama grad, so he sucks BUT he's for the most part honest with his praise for us.

That has more to do with his elite OL that doesn't ever require him to scramble and run. He's capable of running if we somehow pressure him.
