I laughed. 👍

Listen, I'm like you, I trust Heupel with however it shakes out...the guy has forgotten more football than I'll ever know; also, he sees the players each and every day. However, no one will EVER convince me that Milton didn't step out of bounds with the sole purpose of not getting lit up. He knew exactly how much time was left (he looked at the clock a couple of times!); that, coupled with what I've seen out of him since Bowling Green...the kid is timid, and ABSOLUTELY does not like contact; and, anyone who doesn't see that is either blind, or ignorant of the game...or, petting stress animals.
Sometimes our instincts and habits fail us, so I am inclined to second chances. I was in Knoxville in the late 80's and a bit of an older student because I had done a military gig. So I've had enough study to know this is true. It's been broached now but a couple of days ago I was considering a post asking the question which WR should we start running in the QB rotation. If HH is out and HB gets the start JM needs do stay engaged because I suspect one way or another he'd be call upon to finish the game out. I mean for Bama., probably UGA too. I think it's a reasonable question: does JM get another go when playing with house money. Thing is the gerbile repartee was ongoing when I was up in Knoxville back in the day.

Kiffin is going to get a lot of mileage out of that golf ball. He's behaving like a colossal jerk, even by his own standards.

The media makes it sound like it was raining golf balls and mustard bottles.
The field thought it was raining men when ole Miss was on defense

what would have been really ugly would have been if they had ruled the game a forfeit which they threatened during the long delay. When they said that I thought oh man....this may turn into a WWE type finish. Made me think that it would be a good time for the officials to review the life and times of General Custer.
That game had the feel of an old NWA wrestling match designed to drive the home crowd crazy in the kayfabe era. Lane was like Jim Cornette bringing the Midnight Express into town to take on the Rock and Roll Express. He distracts the referees when we have Beautiful Bobby pinned, hits Ricky Morton over the head with his loaded tennis racket when the ref isn’t looking, and sneaks out of town with the win as the home crowd pelts him with garbage. Could have done the whole thing over at the Knoxville Coliseum.

I listened to the VQ podcast earlier and Rob Lewis said PFF has Hooker as a top 10 QB in the nation. Wow. Heupel is having a much bigger impact than I ever suspected.

So many of the stats are indicating that we’re ahead of where we should be. Check some of the SP+ rankings. Before OM game there were only three teams in the SP+ top 25 in Offense, Defense, and Special Teams. Those were:

Alabama
Ohio State
Tennessee

Wait. The media hyperventilates and exaggerates? Next you're gonna tells us Pro Wrestling is fake.

Somehow, even though they should know better, Lane has become a darling of the blue check sportswriter crowd.

What’s the best TV for a room with a bunch of ambient light (that can’t be blocked). Also don’t want to break the bank.
Thanks in advance 🙏

So for a bright room with ambient light you want two things mainly.

1. low glare (each brand does this differently and uses different terms for it)
2. brightness (LED is king for this)

So my personal recommendation would be to look at the Samsung Q80, Q90, or Q900 series TVs. They size up from 50" up to 85"

Samsun Q80 TVs

If you're really on a tight budget then TCL has a good series as well the XXS535 models (XX is replaced by the size, so it varies from 50 to 75).

From what I understand, the officials cannot end a game early on the spot like that. They have to get word from above first. If they had then I think you’re right. It would have escalated quickly and the fallout would be so much worse.

Good God, man. As you were typing this, were you petting your stuffed animals?

If you haven't noticed, by now, Milton running timid, and not liking contact, then the power must be out in your stress booth.
Apparently the caveman is triggered lol

I've thought all year that was the desire for HB. And I don't think it's even that he's not got the arm talent or mental capability, I think he's just not in good enough shape to run the high tempo offense the way the staff wants. (this is pure speculation by me) So they'd rather him have a RS year to learn the offense as well as get in better shape. If he stays and doesn't portal out you'll be seeing a very wide open QB competition next year even if Hooker & Milton stay.

I think at least one, maybe two, will portal out and CJH will portal shop for a QB he thinks is a better fit for his system. Jackson is going to need time to develop. But there are plenty of games left this year for our backups to show what they can do.

Yep, I think we'll have our pick as well. If you're an offensive guy you're definitely gonna wanna play in this offense.

When you recruit at that level you shouldn't lose to vastly outmanned teams anymore.
It’s so wild because it’s not just misevaluating the QB position.
They have swung and missed at multiple positions over the last 3 years.
They don’t have any difference makers at any skill positions AND both of their lines are average at best.
This is going to be a tedious rebuild if they don’t get a Deshaun Watson/Trevor Lawrence in there at QB.

I mean, if I was Kiffin I'd save the golfball forever. Put it on his desk/bookshelf and post about it on Twitter. Maybe even give it a Wilson alter ego.

Then one day if I'm feeling good I might auction it off for a charity that involves the two schools.

I don’t even think it hit him. Maybe bounced into him. 😂

Yeah, I didn't think it hit him, either. I re-watched the clip and it appeared to hit the ground in front of him and then he faux-flinched before whirling and making a big deal about it to the ref. Continuing to trot it around and use it for photo ops just shows what an attention-seeker he is. I can't see CJH or anybody on our staff doing that.
