Update on Henry T

I’ve said this form the time Henry T entered to portal, he always wanted to stay at UT but family (father) was pushing him to Bama (still might transfer) IMO.

Would love to have #11 on the field wearing orange, but I also believe if you aren’t 100% committed to the orange it’s best for you to play somewhere else. I understand they are young, and committed to the coaches and when that changes. You should weigh your options. Also believe that you committed to the University and to your team mates.

Easy to assign blame without knowing what the scheme was. When it comes to who probably was out of position between whoever played star that day and Henry T I’m inclined to think it was the slot corner blowing his assignment.
Henry took a lot of bad angles/wrong gaps during run defense as well ( I understand sometimes it’s a guessing game trying to hit the same gaps the RB is going to, to try and get a TFl) but pass coverage that was mentioned a lot last year the slant. He was horrendous

He was trying to do too much a lot of times last year, that's a trap good players on bad teams often fall into. He's a damn good player though. It would be a major, major positive if he comes back.
We definitely need him. He's much better than options 2, 3, 4, 5 etc. He seems to be a good kid too. I think a lot of the transfer stuff is daddy talking. Come back and have a good year and go pro. Hope he comes back.

Just me personally I wouldn’t have much to do with him I wouldn’t look at him the same as a teammate
I would! If I were one of the big O-line uglies, that toughed it out and had been busting my butt all off season, in the first scrimmage I’d light his @$$ up the first time he shot a gap and then I’d extend my hand, help him up and welcome him back.
GBO!!

Could be why Saban said thanks but no thanks?
GBO!!
And you know this is what happened?

The vast majority of players on every college team in America made a business decision to go there. Rarely did they grow up rooting for the team they play for. He's doing what he should, looking after Henry T. We need him, we are a better team with him, and by all accounts he's an excellent young man, "improper benefits" or not.

I didn’t say it did, just that it COULD be Why.

Probably directed by Saban to come go thru spring practice and learn as much as he can about the offense before transferring to Bama. Probably the only way Saban would take him as he will not be a starter at Bama
I don't think Saban needs more than a couple days of prep walk thru w/ the team to get ready for our annual beating

Again, we saw the outcome of the play and the slot could have released the wr to the inside when they shouldn’t have. I’m not saying you’re wrong but unless we know the playbook and what the calls were we really don’t know who was at fault.
