I know you guys are freaking out over no news on Washington, but I look at as a positive.

1. No credible news that he hasn’t turned us down.
2. During this time Washington may be trying to create his defensive staff.

Washington till it’s not.

The only person who has come out and said anything is Hyams who said the wrong dude was interested, fixed it and then who said that he turned it down. He is the only one who has said Baked Blaker or whatever his name is was talked to by Tennessee.

No, he never said that. There was a fun thread where people guessed what the thread title would be by AP once the hire was made. Volzown threw out “No stone unturned, the Vols finally have their guy.” But I guess since he’s a proven insider people took that and ran with it saying he said it was done.

It appears we have moved on, if we haven't we should have. It's rather obvious how little interest there is, but it should come as no surprise.

I mean I wouldn't expect the university to have a press conference or anything. But you would think a beat writer would say.... Something. A tweet. Anything. That one guy had the fireworks post. But then he said he wasn't sure.

Seems like OSU is confident, but feels like everyone is reading tea leaves and don't really know what's happening. It's all a big hunch.

It's probably dead sure. But what else are we doing around here? No new names have really emerged.

Lol. Not once have I said or implied I didn't want a non-white hire.

That's how racist rhetoric is started. I have stated multiple time to hire the best available candidate no matter the color.
