"Just give it to Mayo" like we wouldn't be begging him to take the job at this point.

We're down to Ohio State and LSU's linebacker coaches - I think we're long past Kacy Rodgers and Jerod Mayo.

Someone mentioned last night we would know either way by 10:00 a.m. today on Washington. I realize VN info and times/timelines hold zero substance, but I would imagine we didn’t let him sleep on it too long before we were after him again this a.m. as a final push.

Exactly. We need to get past this skin color thing as a nation and in sports. It's getting ridiculous. Quit letting people divide us into classes, so they can assign winners and losers for their own benefit and enjoyment. Treat everybody equally like common decency says we should, as well as our faith backgrounds and nation's documents/laws say that we should.

Hire the best available. It starts with the HC. Check. O staff is here. Check. Now let the HC hire who he wants as DC, so we can check that off and hire D coaching staff. Then, get back to football. The HC provides the system of play. The DC's job is to fit the D into what the HC wants. The HC is the only one who should have a vote on who is hired as the DC and related staff.

If that was not to be Steele, so be it. Move on and sing a different song. Then give CJH at least the three years the other bozos got before calling for his head.

Wow. I had Fulmer up there in my Pat Summitt, Peyton Manning UT HOF, but look at him very differently now. I could see me taking a picture like that off the wall, but not sure I could’ve burned it.

I really don't understand..at this point..why they won't go after one of the good mid-major DCs. I believe those guys are hungry enough to jump at the chance..plus they have already shown what they can do.
