This is the stupidest **** ever....and every post like it today. Next year when whatever poor schmuck takes this impossible job is losing 8-9 games while getting his teeth kicked in and having a recruiting class ranked on the 20s or 30s, and then start out the next season losing four out of the first five...you guys will be screaming for blood again...and again...and again...and again...

I hope I am wrong, but I really believe that the next few years are going to be a freaking nightmare, and the Tennessee football program is pretty much over as a legitimate power.

Well that's a lack luster kick in the balls!!! Already been here and from what I remember of him he wasn't that great! It wasn't a huge loss when he left his assistant role n went to ECU. Someone correct me if I'm wrong or thinking of the wrong guy.

If you watched the press conference, Plowman fired Pruitt because he was responsible for the actions of the assistants who were caught cheating. Nothing was tied to Pruitt in the investigation related to him cheating.

Not accurate. She clearly stated the investigation is on-going. That means we have not been given the complete picture.

Kiffin, Freeze, Herman, Malzhan, and Campbell are all offensive guys with head coaching experience that are reasonable candidates. If we hired any one of them (preferably one of the first three) I would consider it a home run all things considered.

Chadwell needs to adapt or run his offense at a school that actually plays in a conference that matters before I would feel comfortable/be excited about hiring him. I don't care that he's from Tennessee or that he was Coach of the Year.

Would this fanbase even give a guy like him a real chance? He would rebuild this program, I have no doubt about his ability to that, but he would not do it the quick way...and VN is out of patience.

Yes I believe we’d give him an honest more patient chance bc if the university hired him or someone equal success & experience. It’d show they are actually more serious about improving the football program for the long term

She has a doctorate in strategic management. Taught graduate level management classes at UT. I’m critical of academia at times because they don’t experience the real world, but I think this lady knows what she is doing.
