Absolutely true. I just don’t see what is accomplished by impeaching him though. He’s already made himself a pariah with no chance of winning in 2024. It’s not like impeachment undoes anything. I just think the time is better spent changing what he did than doing something for the sake of history and setting an awful precedent.

No. Stacey Abrams crew went door to door and filled in ballots in Fulton an Dekalb for people that probably never voted, at a minimum. Regardless, 45% of Ameica questions the legitimacy. Going to be your problem to bring these people under your procalimed Hoden unity campaign. Got to say it is a hell of a start.

Setting an awful precedent? No chance of winning in ‘24?

What precedent does it set to not hold him accountable?
I also think he’d have a great chance of winning in 4 years. There are a ton of people waiting to say “I told you so” about Biden and he seems to have a special relationship with his party.

Some Senate Republicans see it as a way to bar him from running for office again.

That 45% number is falling quickly now that the perpetrators of the con are saying it's over and they actually have nothing.
Try not to be the last kid in school in your high school who still believes in Santa.

An impeachment of a defeated President who has no chance of even running again has absolutely no teeth or accountability to it. It’s political theater.

And some see it as a way to rescue the party from what they see as a spiral further downwards. No more Trumps. No more Cruz' or Hawleys. Get back to core principles about fiscal conservatism. Less ideology, more practicality.

I think they are doomed in that effort. As is their party. Just too much racial resentment and 19th century demagoguery at the party's core to survive in the 21st century.

I disagree here again. Aren’t the “elites” the ones who get to ignore the law? I think the majority of the country wants to get back to accountability.
