8 days left, why are the Dims so determined to get this done? They scared of something else? Lots of money being wasted on something that doesn’t matter.A lot of Republicans in the House will vote for this. McConnell reportedly may decide to let it come to the floor. A lot of moving parts to this and right now I'd say it's uonto about 25-75 he is thrown out of office prior to 1/20.

It’s worth it. It’s telling that the Republicans like McCarthy are hoping for some half measure, like censure. They don’t want to have to vote on this.As I posted before, I dont think its a good idea, practically speaking.
I mean, he definitely deserves to be kicked out of office. No question about that. But I think the timing of it is just not worth the antagonism it adds to the situation.
A useful exercise is to imagine how this will be seen 20 or more years from now. Will it be viewed as a partisan reaction in the heat of the moment? Or as taking a stand against completely unacceptable behavior? As I posted before, I dont think its a good idea, practically speaking.

I heard Adam Schiff on the radio yesterday. When asked why impeach now, his first response was that Trump is a danger.A useful exercise is to imagine how this will be seen 20 or more years from now. These dips**ts don’t realize there won’t be enough time to even float these articles and ram them through. Then Trump becomes a private citizen again and the point becomes moot. Dems are just as much blowhards and outlandish as Trump. He’s gone in eight days. Move on.
There is a deep anger out there that I am not sure you even understand. The Congressional issue was decades in the happening. Not about Trump.
Depends on whether the historian is a Trumpster or sane.
Just creates more division. The Dims want to unite, but this isn’t a good idea.As I posted before, I dont think its a good idea, practically speaking.

Funny how you forget to mention that Jackson’s impetus for the native Americans was their insurrection and taking up arms against the US government in the war of 1812
