Bennett is still very much a 2 star talent haha.
Trask is better than 2 stars. Absolutely.

You could put JG with Tom Brady and Peyton Manning for 5 years and I doubt it would cure him of his slow processing.

It would be nice to see a QB other than JG play when UT is not behind. The game can be quite different, especially for a QB, when the other team has a comfortable lead.

Why do we have to start him? What good will it do to hear a chorus of boos to begin the game against this behemoth of a bammer team. I swear to God he will go out there and immediately throw an interception.

At least bring him off the bench because of the booing.

I'm also afraid he plays well and then Pruitt goes with him against the swine and he goes back to throwin pick 6's and fumbling his 5th year senior dentures.

Here's the possibilities on how this game will go. JG starts, gets benched, then put back in and fishes the game. Someone else starts, gets benched after first mistake then JG finishes game. JG starts, gets pulled in 4rth qtr and someone else performs mop-up duty. I will be surprised if anyone else plays at least 2 qtrs and absolutely shocked of anyone other than JG plays 3 or more.

Have you seen the posts where Shrout did not send a man in motion on the interception like the play was designed. He waited a year to get another chance and blew it. No excuse, he wasn’t ready and will not get another chance unless the other 3 Qb’s are injured. I was hopeful for Shrout and posted since last year that he might turn out to be the best Qb on the roster, a surprise gem. Not anymore.

I've not seen that. Who is quoted with that statement? He was not ready, that's on him, his position coach and OC.

I’ll be upset if Bailey doesn’t play against Arkansas. JG won’t play good against their defense and if we are afraid to throw the ball like against Bama we are going to get murdered.

IIRC, Jones helped "market" JG to the recruiting sites to get him a higher ranking.

Everyone offered JG. He was ranked the #1 dual threat in the nation in 2016...Bama..Ohio State..OK..Auburn..Georgia..Penn State..Notre Dame..LSU..Clemson...but he chose Tennessee. .

If he went to any of those schools he would have transferred years ago.

Ohio State for one. Got salty when he told them he was coming here. Bama, Florida, UCLA...all aggressively recruited him. Prolly way more but I didn’t have a Rivals sub back then.
