Any word from practice on QB reps

How’d he do that again? And why isn’t it a widespread practice if so easily done?
Some coaches do do it if I understand correctly. They think with some merit that having highly rated players committed will help them land other highly rated players. So if they can get one of their solid commits "bumped"... it helps them.

It also helps the "image" of the program. Jones was all about putting a shiny wax finish on those lemons he sold.

He did it by using his access to Rivals and 247 writers to brag about JG's ability.

I've thinking I wish JG would practice like he plays, that would solve some problems.
I think he hits retirement age in December so I'd be surprised. I think he's on the TCRS, state retirement system!!
I think you have to pay into social security to be eligible for it , so I doubt he retires yet even though he may be eligible.

They’re that easily manipulated by a non superstar coach? Guess they’re even more insignificant than I ever believed...didn’t think that was possible.

I doubt that. He would not have seen the field anywhere else.
We’re not talking about reality...perceived or otherwise. Fans bitch when they don’t land somebody. And I think he would’ve seen the field at Rutgers.

Rutgers - I doubt that too. At least not for long. We would not have even thought twice about it here at Tn because JG would have proved irrelevant regardless of where he landed.

Beauty of the unknown. We would’ve thought more than twice. We continue to whine about Nathan Peterman...and Dobbs was way better.

Unless yes. Maybe he’s a another level of better with more stability. You can yell no...but you don’t.

Or were you saying Dobbs wasn’t better than Peterman?
That tells you all you need to know about these guys. They still want Peterman, Dormady, and Ferguson over Dobbs.

If he played with actual talent he would be good.
He put up ok numbers in the SEC with little talent around.

But you think Peterman is better than Dobbs. So . . .
I didn’t say Peterman was better. The “No “ was to another question. I didn’t even watch Peterman play. JG would not put up decent numbers or excel at any D1 school since he is not a capable D1 Qb. The worst long time UT starter ever. You did see the threads showing JG’s W/L record? He has talent around him this year. How do you explain the Ga and Kentucky games this year?

Let me pretend to be K-Town for a minute and answer.

JG played well enough vs Kentucky to win. The receiver didn't come back to perfectly thrown ball and that caused the first pick six. The receiver also should've chased down the DB and caused him to fumble the ball back to TN. It's not JGs fault. The second interception was the fault in some way of the O Line and/or the RBs. JG had nothing to do with it. The fumbles were the direct result of coaching, again, not JGs fault. The defense should've scored on KY too. They are also the reason for JGs interceptions and fumbles.

How'd I do K-Town?

Bad game vs UK. Great first half when blocking held up vs UGA.

The w/l thread was bs. He has 10 wins between this year and last.

Seriously man, "he has 10 wins" when the team went through their winning streak? Yet when "he" has a normal horrible game, you blame the team. It can't be both ways, if "he has 10 wins, then "he has all those loses", and ge has way more loses than wins.

Ok I didn't say he wasn't the qb those games. Let's be honest about the records though if you are the type to quote qb wins.

I'll be honest, he's not a great qb. I do agree the other two probably aren't either. I just hope Bailey, or the guy coming next year is. If not, we'll still be losing, that's my honest take.
