What Other Message Boards are Saying-UGA

I’ve been reading this thread because it’s entertaining. I haven’t seen anyone on this board underestimate UGA. In fact I’ve seen a lot of acknowledgement that UT COULD get beat this weekend. Reading the comments from yourself and zippy it seems YOU are the ones doing the underestimating. There is this confidence and arrogance that’s exudes from your posts as if there’s no way we can compete. How quickly you forget how well we competed last year with a less talented/experienced o line, no speed on the outside and a freshman qb that wasn’t ready to play. This years team has more experience, more talent up front, and a LOT more speed on the outside. I don’t see your D line manhandling our O line. That’s just ridiculous. How many guys do you think you have that can manhandle Trey Smith? Wanya Morris? Cade Mays etc? I think you’re going to have to blitz to get pressure or start pumping the roids .....like TODAY. Our D line is flying under the radar and our secondary is no joke either. This game has the potential of a blowout (one way or the other) or highly competitive depending on how both both QBs play vs the stiffest competition they’ve faced to this point.

Don’t be so confident..... there’s a 50% chance you could make a fool of yourself.
Georgia fans are 99.9% the same. They literally believe nobody can beat them, and if they do lose, they beat themselves. They can't give any otger team credit for anything.

Hello all. New to the site here. Just my personal opinion on the game is that Tennessee is a lot better than these Georgia trolls are giving credit for. If you really think that Georgia is some powerhouse you may need to go look at the schedule and look who you have played. You played a bad Arkansas team and an anemic Auburn offense. It’s easy to have good defense when a team helps you out on that side of the ball. A lot of you Georgia guys keep saying that maybe Arkansas is better than people are giving them credit for. Maybe they are. Maybe South Carolina was too. They had a chance to win the game against Tennessee and Florida and didn’t capitalize. Tennessee is going to face their biggest challenge yet in Georgia’s defense but offensively I don’t think Georgia will be any better than SC especially if we get pressure on the qb.
Welcome aboard

I live for this stuff. Pruitt is finally ready to compete, even though the Vols may not yet be better. Now, I think the Vols will pull the upset, but I do think UGA is better stocked with high profile players. How far has this program progressed for anyone to even say such things.

SC offense on par with UGA? Hahahahahah good lord man. We have punted twice since Stetson bennet has been in on offense.

I actually think Tennessee is in really good position in this game. Win, and you’re back. Lose a close, competitive game, and you’re still on the fringe of being back, so you can still feel pretty good about the program. The only bad scenario for UT would be to lose in a generally noncompetitive game. Then the narrative will be “they’re still just average.”

I’m thinking/hoping Tennessee wins this game.

Who cares about how many times you’ve punted. You don’t gash a bad team and only score 27. Auburn is not a good team man.
Lol they are not as bad as Tennessee fans keep saying. According to y’all they weren’t bad until we steamrolled them. Also, you do know that we scored 24 in the first half (should have been 31 if not for a lazy receiver)? And you do know that we began to run the ball in the 3rd to chew clock and played 3-4 stringers near the end of the third? Do you know how a blowout works?

Guess you should have scored more than 24 in the first half to complete the blowout.

It also doesn’t take a whole lot to see how bad Auburn was man. Give me a break. You dawg fans look for more moral victories that Butch Jones.

Auburn isn't bad, but this year they're like Michigan or Texas- that team that you see ranked highly every year and immediately know they're not quite that good.

He's done a good job of getting the ball out, but his size has got to be a concern for a 10 game SEC schedule.
Agreed and luckily for us he is way more mobile than Fromm. Basically he is a mobile Fromm who throws with more confidence but is also more mistake prone. Alabama will beat us by 2-3 TDs next week with him.

There literally is not enough data to proclaim that auburn is a terrible, bottom of the SEC team this year. They’ve played two games. They beat a (supposedly) better than avg UK and got swamped by us. I agree they are not as good as usual but you’re acting like they are vanderbilt level this year.

What is the hold up with JT Daniels?
Kirby doesn’t give any hints away but the general consensus is that even though he is cleared, he’s still not mobile enough to put out on the field especially when stet is playing decent. I’m just afraid that Stetson is going to do just enough and keep the job away from JTD and we’re going to have another Fromm/Fields embarrassment.

dude the evidence is right before your eyes. Go back and watch the game again. no they arent vanderbilt bad but from what ive seen, they would have a hard time beating SC if they play like they did against UGA.

Is it possible they played the way they did because they had the best defense in the country on the opposite side of the field? Take off your orange and white glasses much? They put up 29 on UK the week before. It will take a heroic effort for any team to put up more than 21 offensive points on this defense. The only one to do it last year was LSU
