George Floyd Protest/Riots

I said that Chauvin’s “excessive force complaints” were shootings that were legal and cleared by courts. And I did call Floyd a career violent criminal. So what? I said what Chauvin did was wrong[/QUOTE

Lol so it was cleared. You and I both know that’s ********. My brother is a cop and a former GBI agent. My best friend is a retired N.Y. correctional officer who also handled escape and absconding. Blue line is ******** and it’s done all the time. Still waiting by the way on my Arbery question.

If you understand then why have you stated otherwise the past ten or so posts? Render aid? What should they have done more, get the bullets out of his heart?
Check pulse? Provide CPR? Do that before they walk around. I understand it but I don’t agree with it

Not what I asked. If it were a cop being chased down should they assume they are under threat?
I’ve never seen a cop “chased down” outside of a mob/crowd control situation so it would have to be a case to case basis.

If the McMichaels pointed their guns at Arbery or said to him “stop or I’ll shoot you/kill you” then the case can be made that Arbery has the right to defend himself

Following him in a truck and calling the police doesn’t rise to the level of I need to run 30 feet to punch that guy in the face about 5 times and steal his gun without more distinct evidence

So a cop wouldn’t be threatened if chased after by a car or truck?

Jesus you are slow. Ok let me answer yet again on the “case by case” basis answer

If a police officer is driving and a car “chases them” and shines lights trying to get them to stop, the officer could stop and get out to investigate

The person might be threatening and leave the car shouting curse words and threats and raises a gun towards the officer. Bang bang they likely would get shot

Same scenario with car chasing the police car but when the officer stops, a scared guy with a gun in his hand (pointed down) says I need help officer, the officer likely would draw their weapon and ask them to drop the gun and would not shoot them if they complied. In this scenario, the scared person with gun just shot a carjacker the street over and needed help

This is why case by case facts matter and not just some standardized “well police did this one time” answer

Cannot believe you're still carrying water for the McMichaels.
