George Floyd Protest/Riots

Less than lethal isn’t non lethal. And against an armed officer the shooting of an officer with taser constitutes life or death situation. Next time your shift at the gas station finishes up, study up on some law 🤣
Got me, in between pumps I post on VN. A+ investigatory skills you have there....

What kind of dumb ass fires a gun, when surrounded by innocent citizens, because they are chasing a guy with a non lethal weapon? Why do we have police stop car chases but not chases on foot?

Let me shoot you with a taser and you can just take the chances on what my intentions are. Idiots.

Still waiting for you to answer my question in the Arbery thread. You know the one about how if you are cop being chased in a truck with armed men can you assume your life is in danger?

Because all anyone would have to do to avoid lawful arrest would be to run away.

And the officers have a duty to protect them from this violent criminal as well.

I don’t know if you call running 5-10 feet a foot chase..... sitting back watching a video, it is easy to come up with different ways to handle a situation.... at the time they were in a fight making split second decisions.... why did the guy just not go to jail? Bail out the next day and settle it in court?

What are you talking about? Are you saying an officer should run up and grab a gun away from a guy just because he has it? Or what?

If the guy uses that tazer to carjack someone or get into someone's house should the cops be on the hook? He showed he had no problem assaulting cops over a DUI, how are they to know what he's capable of?

The fact that there are posters who actually believe the officers were wrong here yet again show how inexperienced and ignorant of law and police procedures some are. Floyd is a completely understandable incident in the discussion on police misconduct because Chauvin was an idiot with how he handled it. But this is textbook violent felony with a weapon and there are still some trying make excuses for this criminal and blame the police officer 🙄

He pointed the weapon at officers after showing willingness to commit violence on them. This should end up clean. Those officers better lawyer up, the mayor is going after them, they should also consider a lawsuit against her.

Yep. If they're lucky, they will get unjustly fired and slandered. They are about to get paid enough to move on an island where no one will ever see them again.

Obviously not. Why do we stop high speed car chases? If they run and then rape your relative are the cops to blame?

They only stop car chases if the charges don’t outweigh risk to public. If someone shot 40 kids in a school and flees they aren’t stopping that chase
Read Tennessee vs Garner to understand why the officers shot this felon

Didn’t you call out Floyd for his previous criminal offenses and then not respond when I pointed out that the dbag cop had a ton of excessive force charges? You seem to be silent a bunch at times.
