And I assure you people are trying but there is no quick fix. But you can't expect everyone to immediately live up to one standard. The way I grew up is much different than many of the people we work with today. Same for my kidsSeems like they might be their own worst enemy and that something needs to give to break the cycle.
So true. No matter how smart we try to be, Every change in tax and entitlement policy creates a behavioral reaction. We’re like rats in an economic maze.If a group of children are raised with no structure and no accountability within their homes, then what you end up creating is a generation of criminals and strippers. In the black community (and ever growing in the white community), you are have incentives to break up the family and remove structure and order in the home.
It starts with parents being home and taking a active approach in their childhood. Problem is that the moms are working two jobs to make ends meet. Busing has caused kids to go to schools miles away from their homes, mom can’t make it either because of work or because the cost of traveling across the city. That's capitalism.
Helping the economically disadvantaged starts with the schools not the .gov mandating wages.
BTW, none of the other groups you mentioned above needed 3 constitutional amendments to secure their rights in this country. And even with that, it still took over a century to get it right. Unfortunately, Jim Crow was replaced with a more destructive political agenda in the 1960s.I am also curious as to why this "systematic racism" doesn't affect Asians, Hispanics, Middle-Eastern races the same ways

Examples that are well documented?
racism in hiring practices (this is already illegal)
racism in housing (this is illegal)
racism in home loan programs (this is illegal but more of a poverty issue than a race issue imo)
racism in school discipline (this is BS, people who commit more serious issues regardless of race get disciplined more harshly. This is a lack of parenting issue)
racism in the judicial system ( this is very debatable)
That busing was due to forced segregation. People should go to schools in their neighborhoods. It’s not racism to say thatIt starts with parents being home and taking a active approach in their childhood. Problem is that the moms are working two jobs to make ends meet. Capitalism has its merits, but it’s also one of the main causes of the issues at hand. It’s a system set up to help the wealthiest and hurt the poorest.
