They have a lot of impact on millions of peoples lives daily. If you think they don't you are being willfully ignorant. So give me a number. I personally don’t think racism will ever just go away. Some people, of all races, will always have that hate in them. As long as they have zero impact on someone’s life who gives a s***. Theres a false narrative being pushed that black people are somehow being targeted and discriminated against at every turn. It just isn’t the case.
Don’t lay that entirely at the feet of conservatives. Liberals also wrecked the black family with entitlement programs that disincentivized marriage and created dependence.More like drugs were directed towards communities of color while conservative policies hindered the black family and community.
racist imhoThere's tons of examples of systemic racism. All you have to do is assume every ethnic disparity between black people and the rest of Americans is because of an inherent racist system.
It is just like having the feminist wage gap argument. Racial disparity is not evidence of racism. Racist policy or racist actions are evidence of racism.
It's a tired argument so I don't really care about having it anymore. I just tell people good luck fixing the racist system when you can't even find a racist person or policy in it.
I can think of a bunch of things to give black people a better chance in life to do great things. Lower the single motherhood rate. Lower the violent crime rate. Lower the high school drop out rate. System must be super racist because all of those things have gotten worse even since Jim Crow.
You are a perfect example that choices and hard work make a difference thenI did when I was younger and I saw people my age with nicer clothes, nicer cars, a future laid out for them on silver platters that came with the connections of their parents.
I hit a turning point after finishing college and paying for just about all of it myself. I moved forth out of spite, and that's when willpower kicked it. Started learning trades and doing things just for the sake of aptitude. Somewhere in all that I found my passions, and have been kicking the **** out those for years since.
After all that, I still think of pivotal moments and job interviews, when it often came down to me or someone else. I recognize that I may have claimed stations over better men, simply because of what I am.
Does that mean I think little of myself? No. Anyone who knows me in person would never accuse me of not having an inflated sense of self at times.
All it means is that we don't always deserve what we get, be they blessings or curses.
If a group of children are raised with no structure and no accountability within their homes, then what you end up creating is a generation of criminals and strippers. In the black community (and ever growing in the white community), you have incentives to break up the family and remove structure and order in the home.Because of their own choices. What is keeping someone from the situation
