She's been trying to distance herself from Bernie over the last few weeks. She knows his style of politics is terrible. You can't stomp your foot in the Democratic party and demand one thing. It is a big tent. If you can't compromise, you become Bernie. A politician with a cult following that is absolutely despised by most Democrats.

AOC is the one who publicly stated that no where else in the world would she be in a party with Joe Biden. She is exactly Bernie

I don't care for her politics either, but she has been pulling back from Bernie and his stupidity. She even said she would support the eventual nominee the other day.

Don't get it twisted she hasn't changed her stripes. She seems to have sniffed out a losing message and Bernie wasn't going to win regardless of how many stomp speeches she gave. The sane part of America knew they were fringe idiots. She's trying to hide so she doesn't look like she supported an overwhelming two time loser. Funny eventhough Biden is a two time loser.

And if I hear Bernie say that Joe Biden is a wonderful person one more time. Does Bernie not realize that if you want to win you can't say things like that about your opponent?

You said the upper echelon of the Democratic party is socialist. If that was so, why is Bernie hopefully going to retirement to never be seen or heard from again? The party is more centrist than you think.

Centrist is not wide open borders for anyone to come in
Centrist is not the government takeover of the healthcare industry.
Maybe that's what you call centrist in today's political climate where being labeled a socialist will rally the Dem party behind the oldest whitest dude in the party. But government people who take from one group because of their means and give to another based on their needs are socialist.
