I don't know the kid's family situation, but he'll be a consensus top ten pick (and possibly top five) if he comes back and stays healthy for a year. Right now he's likely a late first round at best. That's the difference in about 25-27 million.

I can help ya. Inside source says their inside source heard in passing that Trey used the solar hijri calendar instead of the Gregorian one and had his phone set on Kiribati time zone when scheduling his presser so no one really knows for sure when its going to be but there is a 50% chance he returns or stays.

one of the grading services said he graded out as the 14th best guard. I find that hard to believe but if it's true, he could end up 3rd or 4th round. If that is a true projection, he will probably come back. If the other information I saw was true and he is a first round or early second round, I would think he's gone.

If you're right, and he's a second-round pick he'd be an absolute steal for a team like Cincinnati who is going to take Burrow and then could draft a top-five talent in the second round. You get a QB of the future and a ten-year offensive lineman in your first two picks. Wow. Even a team like the Dolphins could get three first round picks (including Tua) and then turn around and get Trey Smith in the second and it would be like a de facto top-five pick again. Great for the team, but maybe not so great for Smith.

We know this. There is no wrong decision for him.

I think since he is having a press conference .. he is gonna try play 3 or 4 years in nfl and call it quits ... get financially secure and go on with life ... I can't blame him at all .. thank you Trey for your desire to be a Vol .. and the guts you displayed .. and heart .. you are quiet a man .. VFL

Do you know what the pay difference would be between a late 1st round vs a 4th round? I'd imagine it is a huge difference..

The location may confuse some due to MGRS not aligning with Lat/Long on the JOG map
