How old were you...

Old then too. I was building shelves in the high part of my garage that day. Helped calm my nerves about the game. I remember stopping the work while listening to John & Bill lead up to the game, went inside, and watched us smack down the Noles. Thanked God that I got to witness this event once in my lifetime! Technically, I was 34yo.

27 yrs old watching w my wife in Raleigh, NC

I thought there would be more to come and now realize I didn’t appreciate the win as much as I should have. It was more of a relief to win vs happiness- that was on me though.

when we won the championship in 98? Where were you?
Bored, and since we're waiting for our bowl game, I figured how about story time.
I was 13 and watched it with my dad, grandma, and little brother. My dad and I jumped up and down for joy. We we're on the edges of our seats the entire game. I remember Fulmer's and Tee's post game interview so vividly. I'll never forget that magical feeling. My does time go by so fast.
I is as 28. My wife and I had rented a cabin in the smokies, drank too much Sangria and watched the game. It was incredible!!

31 and at the game.

Upon arriving at McGhee-Tyson, I was interviewed by a local television station (and it did air) about the upcoming championship game and season......probably because I was basically dressed head to toe in Big Orange.

At the game, Peerless caught "the bomb" directly in front of me. Absolutely, without any doubt, this was (by far) the best bowl game and bowl trip I have experienced!!

I lived in Las Vegas and watched the game at home with my husband. Looking back now I wish we had gone to the Hilton sportsbook to watch. No way II am telling how old I was! I remember I made barbecue ribs, baked potatoes and corn on the cob for dinner. I was a wreck. Halfway through the third quarter my hubby told me "relax, they've got this!"

I was 21 and in college at Ohio State wearing my UT hat with pride and a couple of the players were in my classes and still salty from the loss in the Citrus.

Oddly, I now live near a few of those same Ohio State players who live in Nashville and still get to rub my UT gear in their face when I run into them or hang out with them.

They laugh about it but they know Ut is their daddy.

I was living in Columbus Ohio at the time too, the Buckeyes would have been the opponent if they hadn’t blown the Michigan State game at home. I remember they felt they should have still been there instead of FSU. A day before the big game a Columbus radio station had a simulated game between The Buckeyes and The Vols with Play by play announcers, fan noise and everything. Obviously they had The Big Orange losing and TOSU were the BCS champs. LOL
