'18 TN OL/DL Cade Mays (Transfer)

And now Cade can see for himself that Pruitt is the bomb, Kirby is dumb, and Pittman is in the ozarks where he planned to retire all along. GBFO. He is smart enough to graduate early. He is smart of enough to figure this out.

Come on up, Cade!
If he does transfer and he doesn't feel welcomed here, he may take a look at Arkansas.

AP literally talks to the family at least weekly, if not more. He would know. He’s not just basing it off of the fact that he’s been at UGA for 2 years. Who else has suggested it over the past few months? This thread got revived yesterday for the first time since Jan. 2018

AP also has a history of lying or misleading to cover so "kids can have their moment" etc.

Very possible that

1. AP is speaking in generalities, without intimate knowledge of Cades academic situation.

and/or

B. AP would say its impossible so as to not spread fire. With the understanding that this is a somewhat delicate situation if true... it would probably be best if everyone chilled on this topic. Especially before the moron portion of "vOlTwItTeR" ran with it.

AP has to walk a fine line because everyone knows how close he is to that family so if he was to say anything about Cade being open then everyone will go wild with it

Posts get deleted sometimes in this thread because people get emotional in here.
Ok, fair enough. I just saw people make that claim and several take it and run with it. I wanted to post what AP said. We don’t know how many credit hours Cade had when he left high school, or how many hours he has been taking each semester. AP just said no to the answer about the end of Spring.

He may be able to graduate in July, I don’t know. We just don’t need to see something and take it as gospel unless we for sure know. Otherwise, people will assume he could have graduated and transferred to UT but decided not to. When in reality, he may not have been able to transfer because he hadn’t graduated yet.

I think you got it backwards. He was committed until Butch was canned. He didn't sign with GA because he didn't like Butch. As I recall it, he would have come if Butch stayed.
He decommitted before Butch was fired, but your sentiment is correct.

Your bridge maybe. I honestly had more of a problem with him not allowing Pruitt and Fulmer to visit in home than that stupid song some got so worked up about.

WAY past over it now. If he wants to transfer and play with his brother, I have zero problem with it. If he wants to stay at UGA, best of luck to him except when he plays us.

Really, really agree with your position on this. Though I am not taking this potential very seriously, and won't until given a real reason to, I could see a potential for him to give it a thought. Doubt he could play the grad transfer card after only two years, but if he for sure wanted to play with his brother, there is an alternate plan that would allow him to do that. If he can within the next school year graduate, he could do the only play in 4 games card next season, transfer and sit a year and have a couple of years to finish out at UT. If they did not hit the trash he could dig out all his Orange stuff that used to be on his walls (from a story I think I read back in the day) and file to recover his VFL card and unify his entire household. BUT I would find pushing out his entry into the NFL a year or two highly unlikely. The family has obviously found a way to have the brothers be at two different schools, so I am good with it, either way. I would SPECULATE the plan is to only deal with the two school dilemma one year and Cade to enter the draft next year while the younger brother does more work in the training room than on the field. This could be impacted by the outcome of the 6th year appeal our current C is contemplating.

I am not one that has placed a lot of equity in the Pittman departure being a huge factor in all of this... a factor maybe, but not huge.

Debatable, if he wanted to play for Botch

Oh. I think I did see that. Trying to actually work AND keep up with all the threads is not easy. I'm sure there is probably a RF post mixed in with some of my reports.

I already forgive him.

I did think it was interesting he was on campus with cooper over the holidays. Maybe it’s happens more than we see but that was first time publicly saw him in our facility since everything. Took it as a good sign that he and staff are in good place with everything from past when saw that picture otherwise he would have just stayed home while the fam visited campus

Honestly fine with him going the Gibbs route, especially if Trey comes back. Wanya, Trey, Kennedy, Carvin, Darnell. K'Rojhn as the swing guy.

Then next year you'd have Wanya, Cade, Carvin, K'rojhn, Darnell plus a ton of other fairly well seasoned Pruitt recruits
