It’s the same as Vandy beating us. Wazzou should really never beat Washington. Especially when Washington has a top 5 head coach. Going bowling is the goal and really only goal at schools like wazzou. Anything else is icing.

Eh, he needs it that way so he can always be the plucky underdog.

Like I said, he’s a fine coach. Arkansas should probably hire him if they can. But he doesn’t win enough for his schtick, IMO.

I will say that when Memphis and Cincy actually play each other, I believe they always do it late in the year. I recall them doing the same years ago, and they may have been in CUSA then. Those 2 schools are long time rivals.

Wazzou went 11-2 last year, When’s the last time Vandy did that. Therefore it’s not even close to the same as Vandy beating us

Same thing happened 2 years ago when Memphis played except it then it was against UCF. Played em last game of the season then had to go back to UCF the following week for a championship game. It’s really stupid if you ask me, it’s almost like the conference intentionally tries to do that.

I’m not sure I’d put that reaction down as one of Leach’s quirky moments. Historically, Washington dominates that series.

I feel ya. All I would say is that wazzou has won 10 or more games 5 times since 1997. Vandy since 1902, has NEVER won 10 or more games. That’s why I think they are not even close to comparable programs.

He wants out anyway. He knows he cannot out recruit the Huskies to go with his program.
