No doubt more talented than anyone else in the room. Just not sure his strengths align with what Chaney has been trying to push. Chaney will have to adapt. HB is more like JG than Maurer or a Haynes King type. He's not real quick twitch or a runner. Great abilties elsewhere.

If he is willing to return to that strategy, yes. He did not this year. We also must have a really strong run game. I think our OL will get there the next year or two. Need to recruit an elite (or two) back now to complement. UGA had the spoils of great OLs and 3 future NFL backs. He needs talent to succeed and we are still building in that regard.

Yeah I don't think Chaney caters his offense to the QB.

I do believe he works to the strengths of the team, one of ours is at WR which is likely why we've had those games where people wondered why we didn't run it more.

Well that is problematic. QB is the one guy you're most dependent upon. You must know him in and out and build around him. All other pieces are less useful if he isn't performing. We have seen that first hand here.

And yes WRs is a strength here, but not the way used this year. Our dudes are big and are possession guys. They should be given long balls deep. MC is a monster on those and he's hardly been given them this year. Short routes don't max their strengths. That is for Wes Welker, slot types. We don't have slot guys or burners as our strength.

Kind of random but anyone remember a couple years ago the dad of the QB who threw to kendrell scurry and I think another (then) highly touted in state receiver? Used to post here and give updates on his son.

Kid looked decent from the clips posted here. I know scurry and whoever else kind of fell off the radar (back in ‘16-17 we all thought he’d be a 5 Star). Anyone know if he ever made it to the next level? I can’t remember the name.

He never was very good. He just kept getting blasted so quickly that we couldn't tell how bad he really was. Our receivers, specifically Callaway, made him look good on jump balls that won us games like Auburn and the entire team dominated a one-dimensional UK team.

Our OL improvement has given him more time to expose how garbage he is. He barely threw picks last year because he was constantly on his ass or threw a checkdown. More time in the pocket gives him no excuse not to throw and negates his one good trait...the ability to take a beating.

The Miss St game was one of the few times I've seen him read a defense and that was only on 2 passes.

Butch has made it clear that he'll sue if UT doesn't pay him out. UT doesn't want the Title IX stuff dredged up, so he has the leverage. We want to move forward and leave that chapter behind. So we'll pay him out, and afterward, hopefully he'll cut all ties to Knoxville and leave the SEC.

Sometimes you seem so stuck on the idea that if it's your opinion it's the truth, that bugs me. Maybe you're just less serious than I realize in your post, but it's not always easy to tell. I know warrior's INT was a gimme vs Alabama, but he's played really well these past few weeks. It's been great to see him finally put things together.

There have been numerous “gimme”’s throughout his career that aren’t part of his stat line...because he didn’t come up with them. It took awhile, but this is the ballhawking, football smart assassin safety we thought we signed.

Can't find the play or the whole game online. I just looked for you, but I guess you already did that.

He was shoved late enough, imo, for it to be called a late hit, but not completely over the top (unless you compare it to the flags they threw on us! But what happened was a freak accident: he fell into another player and his helmet hit the guy's knee, iirc. Haven't seen the replay either.
