Yea Frank isn't doing good at all. Very sad. Is this piece behind Paul's paywall or is it available to all ? I would like to read it

i think they will want to keep things simple for him. he's apparently struggled with just the simple manangment of the game stuff like getting the play called in time or getting everyone set before snapping etc....he did it against Bama, got a delay penalty.

anyway, it is what it is.

i think there are players that are frustrated with JG, how could some NOT be?

so i think JG would have to have some sort of act of contrition to the team for him to be accepted back for some. i would assume that has already happened on some level.....

but i think everybody needs to get ready for it....i think JG sees the field saturday. bad weather, probably gonna run the ball, probably gonna be a grind it out type of game for whoever wins it, reduciton of errors will be a premium........i htink the staff will ultimately go with experience.

Taking to social media when you're mad is never a good idea. There was a chance this thing dies quietly away if no one says anything, but that kind of response is sure to get more people fired up, talking about it, and digging for more. And of course, it's more fodder for if/when it gets picked up by hungry sports news sites, bloggers, and vloggers.

I think Judd's only interest is in basketball. I will say this. He probably knows more about SEC officials than even their peers or bosses do. Off the top of his head he can tell you by name which officials in the SEC blow their whistle the most, on the road and at home, what calls they are more likely to make on average, what teams they are most generous to by individual, etc. It is truly unreal. And if you don't believe what he says, he can pull out his books and books of notes he's made over the years and prove it all. I used to think TV Teddy, oh no that's a loss. If you're on the road, let me tell you, you definitely want Teddy Valentine calling your game because he's gonna give you the most generous calls you will see

Obviously, that applies to any statement anyone makes here. However, I cannot tell my wife and family that fans should not boo JG. They would not even know who he is. So, I tell all my pals here, instead.

kinda weird there's not more former players involved in the local media. i don't dislike ainge, but i take him with a grain of salt...like him most for the actual football talk, less on the peripheral, big picture stuff. swain, pretty much the exact opposite...probalby why i listen to them both.

anyway...im not looking for water carriers in the media...but it'd sure be nice if we had guys that at least gave a crap. unlike hyams, adams, ubben etc..........

I looked up his dates and I think he only arrived when it was clear that the intern needed to go and was tanking everything, so his "positive" takes were damaging the program. Novel spin, same corner pocket. Wasn't he only here butch's final year?

i think i'm still pretty hopeful for Saturday. i just have to continue to think that the improvements we have made pretty much everywhere else on the field are enough to help carry a QB to a W.

the reality is, this is a very tigh match up where qb play can very well be the difference, and in what will probably be a sloppy weather, grind it out game, not trusting the qb is usaually a tell tale on what you can expect results wise.

we can win this game. but it's in no way close to a sure thing. need usce to struggle some, and we need to not make the dumb mistakes we've shown to be prone to make.................more of the good tennessee we've seen lately, less of the dumb one.
