You won’t be the only one. Basilio was getting pounded on calls and twitter because he said JG is starting and we should at least support the guy despite our misgivings. I think fans are at the point where we’d rather lose by 40 behind Shrout or Jennings instead of losing by 25 behind JG.

Fans were also saying that Pruitt will lose what little equity he has built if JG starts Saturday. It’s a bad situation all around.

After reading an article by Ubben on the Athletic, where he interviews a bunch of different neurologists about playing the week after receiving two concussions in back to back games, I don't think there's any way BM starts on Saturday. The only way would be that the hit in the Bama game didn't actually result in a concussion. We're going to have to ride with JG.

So Ubben has now gone full AdamsAzz and is vividly trying to undermine the program and the coaches and to effect outcomes, as opposed to merely trolling. Look at me shocked face.

If they could just repeat last year's strategy vs USC. Our run game is obviously better than last year and I think our defense is coming around. Repeat the quick pass scheme and we have a shot.

If you remember, last year vs SC was the 1st game where Trey Smith could no longer play due to his blood clots returning. The coaches were afraid the OL would not be able to protect JG more than 2 seconds .. so we ran a ton of short quick passes. It worked great the 1st half before SC finally caught on and stopped most of the short stuff in the 2nd half. Unfortunately the Defense let us down in the 2nd half and allowed SC's offence to control and win the game late.

IMO this year's JG plan vs SC would be more similar to the MSU 2nd half. Lots of run plays with a few RPOs and deep balls. I think SC Defense will game plan against the short quick passes from the start this Saturday. Also expect to see several run blitzes from SC .. which is why we need to have RPOs ready.

Exactly how I feel. I’m done with JG. We know he is a loser. We know he makes catastrophic mistakes and he seems to always make big mistakes when the game is on the line. He is the sole reason for us being 2-5 instead of 4-3 (at least). I don’t feel like wasting my time going to a game where I know my QB will lose the game for us. Pruitt has built up a lot of equity with me the last few weeks. If he continues to play JG and we go 3-9 or 4-8, he will probably lose that equity. I would most certainly be ok with losing if he at least tried Shrout for a game or two and even let JJ get a shot.

Yea, I don't get that either. First, does he know BM suffered two concussions in consecutive weeks? Has that been confirmed?

Second, he's basically reporting what UT should do if BM did in fact have two concussions. Yet, UT has a team of doctors to determine that. He is laying the groundwork for controversy. Journalism has turned into a clown show. It's irresponsible.

That's college. LED lights are for professional sports. It's what Bama has turned itself into.

I didn't even think they were allowed to use them after kickoff, but I guess they can. It's entertainment, but whatever.

It’s red. They have had helmets before with a small streak of red symbolizing the blood that horned frogs can shoot out of their eyes, but this is a lot more and purple and red simply don’t go together.

Swain was also pushing “don’t boo” today, which is really the only reasonable approach even if you are extremely frustrated to see JG roll out there at QB. I count myself among that number, but booing him won’t improve his performance or the team’s.
