Then I think I will probably just skip it. The Silmarrilion is absolutely horrifying, but it somehow remains beautifully hopeful at the same time, and it is my favorite work of fantasy.Rothfuss has made it clear from the beginning not to expect a happy ending based on Kvothe's telling of his story....no clue what happens in the current line of events.
I wouldn't be too worried though. Rothfuss doesn't seem to share GRRMs sadistic love of horrifying his readers.
