He’s at a JUCOI was tripping through the transfer portal and I notice this for Maleik Gray. Does that mean he’s given up football?

The officials appeared to have marked it incorrectly, initially and he still got it right so what does it matter? To me one of the clear signs he’s in way over his head was after the overturned fumble Bama Pruitt had zero clue what to do with the penalty. He had a good five minutes to be prepared and was still freaking lost. I have no idea how a head coach in the SEC didn’t know what he was doing next there
RB still looks decent. QB and DB have played worse.Yes the roster isn't great. However it's year two and players have gotten worse, communication, and alignment have gotten worse as well on defense.
Other than the OL, would you agree we as a whole have regressed steadily since the middle of last year? I think that's certainly fair to say and it is alarming.

I am 49 years old man and on the second busiest fire truck in the Raleigh/Durham triangle area, 3 hours a night would be a dream and to top it all off I am a Tennessee Vols fan for life!!! F me
Pruitt's (Bama Style) 3-4 Defense and a Pro style run first Offense needs big and fast players to win in the SEC. He is in a catch 22 situation at UT where it will be hard to recruit elite players to match his schemes until he is winning .. but he can't win without the elite players. Similar to the situation we had with Dooley/Sunseri trying to run a 3-4 defense with smaller not so fast defensive players. It can be embarrassing. If Pruitt can find a way to sign near top 10 classes in 2020 and 2021 then he could succeed at UT.
Otherwise, UT will need a coach with schemes that can win in the SEC with mostly 3 star talent to get it started in the right direction... so that elite recruits will want to come to UT again. That coach will be hard to find.
So we are not supposed to feel so bad that they beat us now since he has a very good record? If Pruitt doesn't work out then I'm on team go hire Bronco Mendenhall. He never had a losing season in his 11 seasons at BYU and only has 2 losing seasons in his 14 full seasons of coaching and one of those the lost in the bowl game gave him a losing season. He has lead his teams to bowl games in 13 of 14 seasons. He took over a Virginia program who was 26 and 45 in 6 seasons under the previous head coach and 4 and 8 the year before Mendenhall took over. After a 2 and 10 first season, Mendenhall has taken them to back to back bowl games while increasing Virginia's win total each season. Now currently in his 4th season at Virginia he has them 4 and 0 and ranked 18th in the country.
His overall coaching record is 119 and 65.
I am a little disappointed Chaney's big brain hasn't kicked in yet.Basically Fulmer/Clawson and Dooley/Sunseri we have seen this movie and it doesn’t end well...Pruitt needs to adapt till he can recruit players for the schemes he wants to run,how hard is that for him and other coaches to concept.thats the difference between a average coach and a elite coach.
