Once again. This came from the article referenced earlier in this topic:

At the end of the Obama administration, US intelligence officials had already expressed concerns about the safety of this spy and other Russian assets, given the length of their cooperation with the US, according to a former senior intelligence official.

Those concerns grew in early 2017 after the US intelligence community released its public report on Russian meddling in the 2016 election, which said Putin himself ordered the operation.

Maybe it's just me, but I don't see Trump's name there. And early in the Trump administration, it seems like he had a problem with intelligence agency heads doing their own thing.

To add, the US source was instrumental in confirming Putin's personal involvement in election interference to help Trump.

Trump meets with Putin, Trump siezes notes from interpreter.

What if a bama gump saw Trump's tweet and then went and fell off a ladder while hurricane-proofing their home unnecessarily? Trump could have killed someone. The whole affair is hilarious, but it's also very serious...

True, and pallets of cash lead me to believe the Iranians probably love them some Obama. This game of tit for tat, your guy is worse than my guy, blah, blah, blah is boring. What does it accomplish? They're all a bunch of assholes and pretending one side is better than the other is stupid. We're playing their game and they're eating it up. It's sad how many allow themselves to be led around by that partisan collar, thinking somehow their side is pure. Such bull ****. They're all corrupt, pursuing their agendas of power, and we enable them to do it.

I feel obligated to say it....
They are not all equally bad; Trump is the worst, by far. That is the most important point. To consider him equal is wrongheaded and just worsens the problem.
If we don't differentiate between the levels of good and bad, then there is no incentive to be good.

Of course we had problems before Trump and they do go far past him. He just makes them knowingly and glaringly worse; and normalizing him, or worse, supporting him, is the opposite of addressing the problem.
If your boat is leaking, plug the biggest hole first; don't say "well it's just another hole and not really any worse than the rest."
And Weezer, you are the one who has allowed yourself to be blinded by your own attempts to normalize Trump........you have to realize that it's past time to move beyond that stance.

I've got another analogy for you.
Trump is like a gunshot wound to the gut, and you want to claim it's no big deal because the person already had a hangnail, a cavity, and poor eyesight.
